Any good 1940s/50s-style pony art out there?

I'm a bit of a mid-20th century nut, and I'm looking to find a few good 40s/50s pony pics. I'm looking to get a signature made, but that's on hold until I find the art needed. Preferably, I'm looking for something grand and spectacular, like a 1940s rendition of Canterlot complete with all the bells and whistles, or a Ponyville suburbia from the 50s. Something that captures what Equestria would look like if it was set in that era.

 

But sadly, Derpibooru has completely failed me and right now I'll settle for anything from a wartime propaganda poster to Applejack singing Chubby Checker. I can't really be picky right now.

 

So yeah, post the pony art that your Grandfather would have commissioned if he had Deviantart access in Korea. Looking forward to see what you all find.

This Looks like either the 1940s or 1950s(Looks like prohitbition era fashion though)

1940-1950 pony arts are rare though..(actually i photoshopped my oc to look mafia-ish,Like from 1920-1950s)

Some of these are good, but most only resemble the era vaguely, and the military ones are clearly emulating modern styles, and not the distinctive "all-green everything" uniforms we used during World War 2.

Damn, that's a good one. Very 40s. It doesn't look much like Prohibition era to me (note the bottle of "cider" on RD's desk), though it may be late 30s at the earliest. Most likely, though, it's the early wartime 40s. That's what Twi and Rarity's fashions remind me of, at least. Thank you very much.

 

And yeah, they're surprisingly very rare, considering how large and diverse the fandom is. You'd think we'd have a few more bronies interested in the era.
