So what if there was a brony world

Well after posting on the forum what if there was a brony country I started to think what if there was a brony world, an entire world in another dimension where Bronies could go to every day but the haters would be locked out well me I would start normal life then start expanding it with other Bronies and possibly in the brony world everyone could be immortal or at least those who want to be immortalized.

That is an... interesting concept.

Well. I suppose it wouldn't be too bad. But I don't know if it would be a good idea at the same time. I mean. We'd need to still set up jobs, farms and a whole new government. It may be hard to get everyone and everything in order. XD

I'd love to be immortal though tbh.  :derp:

Oh no, I wouldn't go too far. As much as I absolutely love the MLP:FiM fandom, living in a utopia where there is no haters and where everybody is interested in ponies only would leave me more bored than happy. I'm pretty fine with the world I'm living in at the moment, thank you very much. -3-

Yes! I would rule over this land with an iron fist! I shall be forevermore known as Lord Brony, master of the cartoon ponies!

Seriously though, it would be a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.

Any problem that you may experience on this site can be solved immediately if you simply throw Fluttershy into a wood chipper.   You can trust me on this, because I'm an administrator. Would I lie?

My thoughts exactly. Same goes for a brony country.

That would be AWESOME! Towns would be named after places in the show, the entire economy would be based around fan content for the show, public airings of marathons in the parks.

Yeah this would be an amazing place to live in, not too far off from Equestria itself actually. Then we'd make amazing advances in technology, developing genetic augments, virtual reality, cloning, and loads of other sci-fi tech!  B)

Not that we'd share it with the rest of humanity back on Earth. We would send our emissaries, decked out in regal attire adored with their cutie marks, and we would lord our technological and social superiority over our former home!

Muuuuahahahahahahahahahaha!  :mustache:

Yeah I think of how would you develop tech?

The world is mostly consisting of magic not science :/

Pfff, what do bronies know about building a society and keeping it functional, let alone having it be anything resembling utopia? Here's a hint: it's much more complicated than "love and tolerance."

All societies must have a firm basis for handling resources because nothing makes societies explode with violence like high levels of deprivation. You know what it means to be deprived, right? It means being denied of something you need. Think about the term Sleep Deprivation to get an idea. How many people on here even know what human needs are aside from the obvious physiological needs?

Honestly, I want to shake my head every time I see this idea of a brony village, city or society because many of us don't know the first thing about how societies function.

Fantastic, this topic was brought up again. :)

I think, if we gathered enough people, a small independent state might be possible, and it would be a place many here would enjoy making a life from, but it wouldn't come cheap. It would require incredible loyalty to our prescribed values, alot of patience, and alot of fighting.

The biggest challenge I think would be deciding on territory to claim. The more remote a place, the easier it would be to occupy, but we'd be starving for resources. The best place I think would be a vacuum nation where everyone is becoming less and less unified and harmonious.

I would absolutely be delighted to live in a world with MLP fans.

A world where we were all graceful vegans, where fresh air, water, and beautiful sceneries are bountiful, all living harmoniously with nature- paradise. I'd be the happiest girl of all

That would be very interesting. I'd love to check it out, and possibly live there.

I think it would end being meaningless. It's the same as saying we're living in a human world. Or a world dominated by a species with two arms. The bronies would find ways to segregate and would form factions - such is human nature. Haters would exist, albeit they would be bronies hating on other bronies for different things.

In the short term, I can't see a brony world doing exceptionally well.

For starters, let's take a look at demographics. While it may not be a complete representation of the brony community, I'll use the 2014 State of the Herd report, which is about as close as I can get to a "complete representation". In the report, the average age of bronies was pegged to be ~21, with very few bronies being older than 30. That would mean that the population of our hypothetical brony world would be incredibly young for starters. The median income (in US$) of the average brony would be considered mid-to-upper middle class, with the average median household income being pegged at just over $60,000. Not exceedingly rich, but not at all poor. Of course, this would be a world built entirely from scratch, so we'd need more financial resources. Finally, the brony world wouldn't be very diverse, either: 79.4% of the survey respondents are white, and 80.6% are male. Whether that's a good or bad thing I'll leave up for you all to decide.

Next, let's look at education. An educated population is critical for the development of a stable, successful country, but from the statistics in the State of the Herd report, our population would be fairly well-educated, but not fully educated. 78.4% of the respondents indicated that they do not have at least a college degree, but at least 72.3% plan to obtain a bachelor's degree! Again, short term.

In terms of military defense, 91.5% of bronies don't have any kind of military experience, but in a brony world where there are no armed conflicts, that wouldn't be much of a concern.

Some other good nuggets from the report:

- English would have to be the primary global language. More than 60% of respondents are from a country where English is the primary language.

- 44.9% are in the anime fandom, and I'd guess that the percentage who watch at least some anime would be closer to 50%, so anime and manga would be huge in the hypothetical brony world.

- 15.2% are gay or bisexual, but based on the "love and tolerate" philosophy, I don't think LGBTQ bronies would have any trouble being socially accepted.

- Equestria Girls would be one of the most polarizing political issues. Opinions on EQG were split straight down the middle.

- I'd say that a brony society would be pretty charitable.

- According to the report, bronies tend to be, on average, more likely to agree on issues than their counterparts in the general population, so an assembly-like council or government would probably have an easier time coming to a consensus on key political issues.

Actually, I think a mostly male demographic would be extremely valueable for military purposes, as you'd have a large segment of the population who would be willing to sacrifice their lives for the national values. The general consensus seems to be that the international number of 'bronies' stands in the millions, if 60% (100% minus 20% males and 20% females) went to war over an appropriate land area then the opposition would have a tough time maintaining control.

What I'd be concerned about is whether bronies are willing to reject their own national heritage for the new one. Also, where would we conquer? USA? Canada? Europe?.
