Calling all Brony Musicians (Singers, Instrumentalists, etc.)!

I, Bronyance, am looking for as many people as possible to join me in a very large Christmas collaboration.

I'm hoping to get a whole bunch of people in the fandom to get together, from lesser known to widely known, to create a massive Christmas song, similar to the Massive Smile Project:

Where a ton of people get together and collaborate both for fun and maybe even for charity!

Even PMVers or animators might want to get in on the fun if they want!

I'm starting out here on the MLP forums to get a good stong base going for the project, then we can branch out into even more musicians!

 

If you're at all interested, reply here of send a PM my way. When I'm sure we'll have a good amount of people we can start organizing.

 

If this doesn't come about, that's fine and we can move on, but I'm determined to make an effort. So let's try and do this. If you know any other musicians, well known or not, send them my way and get them to help do this.

 

EDIT: Just to clear up, this doesn't have to be ready for Christmas 2014, but starting the idea around a Christmas seemed better to me.

Well, if you plan on asking people to sing the song, count me in ^-^ I don't have the best mic, but I can send you a small test if you want. Anyways, I'm not the best singer ever either... I can "sing" without making people want to kill themselves xP

Also, I used to do PMVs all the time. Not so much anymore, due to less time and lost a bit of its magic during the years... But, whatever you plan on doing exactly, I can do PMV. (not very long, again, because I've had less time lately...)

 

If you post on youtube a video describing what you want to do, and try to share the word in the forums, we, the people in the forums, will try to share as well (at least, I will ).

B: Can't animate for shit even if I did have that program.

C: My singing sucks

D: I can't play any instruments

E: In a nutshell, I couldn't possibly contribute in any way, but I've always wanted to be part of a big project like this.

I'm able to sing and play quite a few string and brass instruments (guitar/bass/trumpet/trombone/tuba as well as a few less popular ones). I might be interested, however I'm not committed to do any traveling so anything I contribute will have to be through Skype or recordings.

Haha, I wouldn't expect 30 people to fly over to one place. Everything is being sorted over Skype and recorded individually with set-out parts. PM me your Skype and a sample of your stuff and I'll add you to our group.
