Has anyone else heard of a band called Gob? They're not that well known outside of Canada, but I remember them from all the songs they had on old NHL games. They actually have a new album coming out this August. Anyhow, I'll throw up a few of my favorite songs by them.

So, I know this song is probably about sexual desire and whatnot but I take an entirely different meaning from it's lyrics. You know the lyrics "I can't keep telling myself what I wanna hear, I can't just close my eyes"? It reminds me of how I tell myself this and that all the time instead of what I need to hear from both myself and others about how I'm living my life. My joblessness, the fact that I could be homeless at any time if my mom is feeling uncharitable, the fact that a lot of the foods I love to eat are slowly killing me...there's a lot of things wrong with my life that I need to fix. This song reminds me of my own thoughts on it.
