What do you like most about the MLP Forums? :)

I only joined yesterday, but I think what I like so far is that so far, it lacks the drama I see on a lot of other pony boards. most discussion, even debates, have been very civil as far as I've seen. And on top of that, I like how it's safe for the kids too. As a part of the Tumblr Pony community, I see way too much R34 going around. MLP Forums is a nice change of pace from that.

I'm new here, but I like the fact I can talk to other fans of MLP. Sadly, some of my friends have got really annoyed at my pony talk since I got into MLP...I don't even think I talk about it THAT much.

I like MLP Forums because I can talk to people I relate with. I only really know one other brony in real life, and we aren't really close friends. Talking with people here, it just seems like we have such similar interests. I feel like I can be more open here and it's a lot easier to make friends.

It's that once-in-a-lifetime community that seems to be totally deprived of any bad people. I do occasionally see some bad apples in here, but they're very rare and very overshadowed.

I love how easy it is to kill time on here. I do a lot of trading and such with virtual items, you know how it is, and a huge part of it is patience. I have to do A LOT of waiting when it comes to online trading. Mlpforums helps me cope with it a lot. It's easy to get distracted and jump into a friendly conversation!

Transparency from the staff to the users for the most part (in terms of site news and business). Feld0 discloses more information about the site than most other site owners probably do.

 

The design and layout is pretty easy on the eyes. The little things are nice touches like the badges for example.

 

The core of users here are respectable people and I've made a good deal of friends.

 

Oh and that Doctor XFizzle guy is pretty awesome too.

I am hooked on these forums when I should be doing other things.... this community is very balanced in my opinion and I enjoy coming on here to talk about stuff...
