Things that really bother me...

 

When people say that young adult fiction, like the Hunger Games and Divergent, are kids' books.

When people spout misinformation.

When people think that because I'm Christian, I think sex and swearing are evil.

When people aren't honest with me. I'd rather you hurt my feelings than sugar-coat lies.

When people say that Christmas is about peace on earth.

When people tell me I'm wrong about something that I specialize in.

And one that really, really annoys me: when people tell me that I'm wrong about astrology. I'm just a fourth generation astrologer by trade. But please, do continue to tell me how only your sun sign matters, and how, because the sign of your month does not exactly reflect who you are, why I'm an ignorant child, astrology is devil worship, and how it's my fault that your daily horoscope doesn't predict the future.

I really despise smoking, littering, foul language, corruption, habitat destruction, and most recently, sexualzed material. There's probably more, only listed a few things on the top of my head.

Well, for one, I think sexualized furry art is gross and weird. The most I can think of normal furry art is "kind of cute".

I guess I'm talking more about extreme furries.

I just think it's a really strange thing to be into. I don't understand it at all.

Plus, I've had pretty "ugh" experiences with extreme furries, so this influences my opinions.

Let's see~

 

- Any kind of elitism over trivial things like music, TV, movies, games...basically anything where people don't understand that personal tastes are subjective and that stuff you like isn't automatically better and people who don't like it/like other things are just wrong and stupid.

 

- People who act like feminism is terrible because of a radical minority, non-ironically call themselves "men's rights activists" and/or say that we don't need feminism because men and women are totally equal now.

 

- People who use "social justice" as an excuse to bully others for their tastes in fiction, or act like liking the "wrong" things makes you a terrible person.

 

- People who generally don't understand that fiction =/= reality and it is possible to enjoy things in fiction that would be wrong/you would never want to do IRL.

 

- Obsessive haters of any character, show, movie, game, fandom etc who won't shut up about how much the thing sucks - especially if it's a single character/thing in something they're a fan of. If you don't like something that's fine, but I really don't see the point in ruining it for those who do instead of focusing on the things you do enjoy.

 

- People who are assholes to vegetarians/vegans and go on about how it's ~natural~ for people to eat animals. I don't go around lecturing you on how bad it is to eat meat, why can't we just do our own things in peace?

 

so basically, I hate the internet.

 

and all the obvious Bad Things like racism, sexism, homophobia, animal cruelty, etc.

i have a long list but i guess i'll just put my major issues in 1.) fake people or people that pretend to be something they are not because they are either not happy with themselves or desire to impress the "incrowd" 2.) gossipy girls because they will drag you into their crazy and get you to start gossiping with them and if you don't conform you get gossiped about

The overall lack of empathy in people. I know I'm very much guilty of it, too. We seriously need to get better about this...

 

Sexism, which is still very much alive, even in the Western 'progressive' countries.

 

Racism, which is of course still alive as well.

 

Homophobia and transphobia. Perhaps especially now that same-sex marriage is becoming legalized all-around, the general populace will be lulled into believing that the problem of homophobia and the fight for homosexuals rights are becoming a thing of history, leaving behind the much larger underlying attitudes and problems. You know, just like what's happened with sexism and racism. Violence and terrible attitudes are still all around us, but because women can work and vote, and slavery and the Jim Crow laws have been abolished sexism/racism are seen as "issues of the past". Wake up, people! Just because I can get married, doesn't mean that I don't live in fear.

 

Elitism. Whether it's over TV shows (Bronies' attitudes toward the older generations of MLP), gaming (PC gamers), music, or whatever it's really irritating. Let other people like what they like. Your opinions over media are not fact.

 

Any discussions over suicide/euthanasia. This very much goes back to empathy, it is very easy to see how utterly lacking people are in empathy when these subjects come up.

I'm bothered when I upset or disappoint people. 

 

I never mean to... I just can't stand hurting/annoying/disappointing others. 

 

 

I'm also bothered when people are grumpy and rude, especially to people who don't deserve to be grumped at. 

 

I'm also not a big fan of hunting. If people want to do it, that's fine. I just don't like the thought of hurting little animals.

On Gawd... The list will be too long if I do this. Ill list some of the oblivious ones.

 

Smoking. (I barely made it out at birth because my mom smoked while she was pregnant with me. Same goes with my sister. Part of me hates her for it)

Racism( I'm a hipocrite when it comes to this. I may be from Texas, but our belief is: Respect us, we'll respect you. Regardless of race or color).

Police Brutality( too much!!! )

Bullies. ( I know where they're coming from. They are hurt inside from their past, but they surely aren't helping themselves by hiding it and hurting others out of hurt themselves)

Trolls. Aka, stupid people. ( I absolutely HATE stupid people. Those that act like smartasses and do stupid crap strongly bothers me. I can't STAND STUPID!

 

I have many more. But these are key things that bother me the most.
