"Bronies Spotted" Trend On Twitter And Social Networks

So I have noticed its become a trend lately for people on twitter or other social networks to announce they spotted bronies. I find it kind of hilarious as when others spot us it like they found some rare form of animal. Other people go about taking pictures of such bronies or make fun of us on twitter. Sometimes those who look down on us happen to take pictures of those "stereo typical bronies" while in other cases its just a positive tweet of post on social networks without any harm done.

 

I must admit though I do look up bronies spotted on twitter to see what posts would come up along with pictures. Some of the posts are are downright funny and harmless or in some cases rude which I tend ignore.

 

Whats your take on this twitter and social network trend of posting when others spot bronies and broadcast it to their followers as they spotted some rare animal or something lol. Feel free to share your interesting brony tweets from other non-bronies

I think we played a similar game on MySpace (by golly im an ancient geizure) but instead on Bronies we had to find goths and the like.... And it was no near as nice as these people are being to BRONIES..... Also I want that Derpy bag <_<

I'll be fine with it as long as people don't use it to invoke hate speech, cyber-bullying, or even violence. What I like about this is that in public, seeing a person where MLP merch is extremely rare.

I hate the fact that they don't even ask for permission to take a picture of someone (something I thought was illegal), but other than that it's not entirely harmful other than a few snide comments here and there.

In some places it is illegal, I don't know where exactly though. I think Quebec is one place. Not sure where else though.

 

I think this trend is alright as long as the person posting it isn't being really rude and mocking the person... if it's just like, "hey, cool, it's a brony, that's kind of weird, but kind of awesome cause it's so weird" that would be okay. But if it's like "hey look at that brony, wow, these people need to get a life" then that's just rude and shouldn't be done.

Eh, don't really bother with it, fuck it. They can say whatever they want, just be a man and tell it to their face. I mean most of the time it's some not intimidating nerdy sort of guy, so what do you have to fear, especially considering the people doing this likely think very highly of themselves.

I spotted a brony at lenny's sub shop like a year and a half ago. He had a derpy shirt on and was with his friends, but they had shirts unrelated to MLP. I'm pretty sure I talked to the dude or one of his friends on CinemaQuestria during the RR stream, he said his general location and it was very close to where I saw them.
