Aside from the obvious moe factor, I love how shy she can be at times (I can relate ) while still being able to pull through for the sake of her friends. Plus, it's adorable to see her trying to act so grown up when it's obvious that she's really a child at heart.

Princess Nausicaa (Nausicaa of The Valley of The Wind) - She's strong, asseertive, and badass, but at the same time, she's compassionate and only uses violence as a last resort. Just one of many great female characters Miyazaki has created.

 

 

Faye Valentine (Cowboy Bebop) - She's tough and Badass, just like Nausicaa, but is also just as sympathetic and likable.
