Look, Sunset Shimmer did purposely attempt to destroy Canterlot High and invade Equestria with her ... erm ... army of teenagers. But you need to give the poor mare a break. She has been through a lot and it was hard enough for her to fit into her new surroundings with her bad reputation. But things have changed. Ever since her redemption, her new friends have accepted her with open arms and although it took a little longer for the rest of Canterlot High to do the same, they too have seen her true and beautiful colors when she helped Twilight and her friends break the curse of the Dazzlings! She was courageous and she deserves the newfound admiration. Celestia would be so proud of her at this point.

 

So whether you vote for Celestia or Sunset Shimmer ... just know that despite what Sunset did in the past, she has now earned the opportunity to shine brightly in the presence of her friends.
