The fanfic is terrible, but the video (Is it the MisterDavie version?) is simply hilarious. In my opinion, what I thought the video did better was all of the torture was not played seriously, which kind of feels like a parody of the fanfic itself. Not only that, but the torture is fast-paced and doesn't mourn over the sight of a gory pony for too long. I've always had a thing for black comedy, so I had so much fun watching this version of Cupcakes.

I hate anything gruesome, I'm scared of sharp objects and surgery alive, I read the first paragraph and nearly cried. Yup.

I read the fanfiction, but gave the videos a big NOPE.

 

I could read grimdark, but seeing is what really gives me the jeebies. 

 

 I've read other fimfics with more gore and insanity. To me, it was only all right.
