Those cannon balls doing so little damage, not aiming for the balloon in the first place, the whole balloon not bursting into flames when it's leaking gas was lit, Notre Dame's roof not caving in on impact, gave me a headache.

@@Lordav, Approved.

@@Firehearted, You need to run technological advancements for approval by me. Bolt action is permitted, but hard shelled casings are not. You may go as far as paper cartridges and percussion caps/primers which original revolvers had. You may experiment with the actual bullet though or other such things. Please fix your post, and check with me from now on. Thank you.

Just a reminder we still have our border scuffle to resolve, here is the last post I made concerning it back on the 4th page   :muffins:

Upon hearing that the borders were open to them, the unicorn near the border rushed towards it. As he did, the rest looked puzzled for a moment, then also began to flee to the border. It was their last hope of living. The pegasus took a moment to react but when he did, he ordered his air force to him to block their escape.

Three quarters of the the rebel group made it across the border before the pegasi cut them off. The rebels that were left behind were pushed back at the the points of bayonets as they at first struggled to continue.

The unicorn commander that received the orders from Defiant Shadow moved up to speak to the pegasus. "Commander, we have direct orders to get those rebels at any cost! We should break through these borders and retrieve them!" The unicorn said to the pegasus.

"No, they are no threat to us anymore, let us bring those we have captured to the capital. I don't think we need a war over a small group of rebels that can't even fight."

@@SharpWit,

The revolver rifles use hard casings already  but they aren't compatible with the bolt-action.

The bolt-action will use paper casings for a bit.

The bolt-action isn't bug yet, there's only one in existence. I'm giving it time before it becomes a big deal in the Griffon Army.

"But it wasn't there yet. It still wouldn't be too long, however, until the Flash Rifle would be in the claws of almost every Griffon soldier."

When I say "not too long" I mean not anytime in the near future such as in a month or longer IRL time.

@@Firehearted, Single shot bolt action rifles are fine, but no hard casings. Paper cartridges or traditional muzzle loading only. Meaning your revolving rifle also only uses paper cartridges.

Hey everybody. Quick update. Moderate use of electricity is permitted. As always, develop the technology first if you don't already have it available. If we could see some more activity, that would be great. Hope everyone both in and out of the role play is having fun, because you will be arrested if you're not.   :fluttershy:

@@SharpWit,

I've done some digging (AKA Google and Wikipedia) and I'll take paper casings for all my firearms. But not for long. The first really common and practical single-shot bolt action rifles was in 1878-ish and the modern hard casing bullet came about in 1882.

@@Firehearted, I don't think you understand what I'm saying. We are not going to use hard cased ammunition in this roleplay. As far as guns go, this is the most advanced we are going to work with.
