Colon Leftbracket 971 April 9, 2012 Share April 9, 2012 I'd say Ponyville Confidential by far! I mean I thought it was going to be kinda lame and cliche, but they pulled it off nicely! Diamond Tiara was the most fierce antagonist yet! She still scares me! D: The plot, although a bit cliche, was pretty well written. And this episode had some very powerful moments! Like the Big Mac and Applejack Role Reversal scene gave me goosebumps! The other two episodes were also pretty good in their own right. Hurricane Fluttershy (aside from having lot's of Fluttershy) had some cool elements like the PSA film! And MMMystery had a good old classic murder mystery train plot and had 3 major style changes to highlight the other Bakers and Pinkie's imagination! Not only did it have a great plot (no references to a pony's hindquarters), but Fluttershy's character based on her previous failures of flying and such was believable and it proved to be a wonderful catalyst going forward in the episode. This is why the ending was very nice too, as we see Fluttershy rising to the occasion in not only helping Cloudsdale receive the water supply they so direly needed, but also proved herself more than worthy as a speedy flier, and as a mighty respectable pony. All the references were hilarious and the mystery just kept me on my toes the whole episode. It's party time, ponies! Well, while MMMystery of the Friendship Express was funny, and Ponyville Confidential was the best CMC episode, Hurricane Fluttershy delivered much more than the other 2 imo, because of its great jokes, story, and Fluttershy's believable internal struggles. Keypassion 232 April 12, 2012 Share April 12, 2012 MMMystery of the Friendship Express, mainly because it had Pinkie Pie in a Sherlock Holmes hat. Nothing can beat Pinkie in a Sherlock hat. I was dissapointed because no new song but hey, there might be one next episode. I like Hurricane Fluttershy second best of the three for many reasons. Reason one is I could make so many jokes involving the song Rock You like a Hurricane. Reason two is Skyroid, or, as I call him, Brawn Cena. YEAH! I actually didn't care for the overall feel of Ponyville Confidential because I knew what was going to happen. It just feels like the setting is crammed into one box of the train. I'd say Hurricane Fluttershy was best because 1) Fluttertree is now canon. 2) There's just something to it that makes it awesome. I loved the whole Pinkie Pie detective idea and it even drew me in a lot due to wanting to see who did it. Crime novels are sort of my bag. Ponyville Confidential is a pretty good contender though, if it weren't for detective Pinkie Pie then I'd probably say this one is my favorite. It really was one of the most hilarious episodes yet. Plus I love the foal episodes since it gives the show a different point of view. Hurricane Fluttershy was a good episode, but I wouldn't consider it as one of my favorites period. I sort of saw the ending from a mile away, though I was a little misproven since I thought Fluttershy would end up doing more. It was interesting to see more on Fluttershy's background though. Not often does a Fluttershy episode get that honor from me, but I guess it's because RD is the 2nd main character and I also found when Fluttershy was crying under the tree a real d'aaaawwwww moment, and I mean, a real d'aaaawwwwww moment . Even if Fluttershy is technically the cutest in the group, I still dislike her and I don't really d'aaawww much when she does something "cute". So I'll just give my opinion on the three episodes: Hurricane Fluttershy: I loved the lesson that was taught in this episode, and I feel that it help a lot of peole who watched. I felt bad for ol' Fluttershy and was so happy for her in the end and the tornado part was pretty cool too. Poniville Confidental: Honestly. this was the weakest episode of the three, and possible the weakest CMC episode, though watching Diamond Tiara was quite amusing. MMMMystery on the Friendship Express: Oh you don't know how long it look me to see this one!!! I had a lot of laughs with this one, and you can never say no to an episode starring Pinkie Pie! I also loved the references, plus I especially enjoyed watching Twilight get her Nancy Drew on. (I found it really sexy!) And I never expected that RD, Rarity and Fluttershy were the culprits.
