Super Smash Bros. Brawl. There are so many things to do, from the Subspace Emissary to collecting every Trophy/Sticker/CD/etc.. The wide range of characters are also fun, even though the SSB4 roster is my favourite. The music is also fantastic too, as there is a wide range of them to choose and like. Even though the frame rate could've been much better and just had a little more variety, it's honestly the only SSB game I regularly return to.

I still think Smash 2 (Melee) is the best.... its the only Super Smash Bros where you can play as Master Hand without using hacks....

plus it was the first one I have ever played and I have so many memories of bringing my Gamecube to the living room while we were having a party and playing tournament mode with a lot of people.....

if you want to know how to play as Master Hand.... though a lot of you already know how to

Its simple

-put your controller in the P3 slot
-go so Stamina Mode or Event Mode any other mode will crash the game
-if in Stamina mode set the AI to any character you want
-now this part is tricky you need to hold "B" and by doing that it will take you back.... but before the timer runs out and it takes you back you need to quickly hit "New Name" at the same time it takes you back
-this will either Crash the game or take you into the Select Stage screen if in Stamina mode if your in event mode it will take you into the game
-if your selecting a stage its recommended you pick Final Destination because Master Hand gets a bit buggy with his attacks if he isn't there but he is still able to fight....
-as for how to play as him because he isn't like other characters you need to hit a combination with the D-pad and random buttons

Melee will most likely always be my favorite. I just couldn't enjoy Brawl anywhere near as much. And SSB4 may have done a lot I like, but perhaps the series has just lost the appeal to me. Even if they added my most wanted character ever (Isaac) as DLC, I can guarantee it wouldn't be able to reignite the flame. I unlocked all of the characters and everything in the 3DS version, but the Wii U version I didn't get very far. Even bought the GCN controller and adapter, but... No motivation whatsoever. D:

Original: Too clunky
Melee: "L CANCEL! COMBO WOMBO! WAVE DASH! FOXNOITEMSFINALDESTINATION!"  (In short an elitist circle jerk)
Brawl: Good single player, but it just never struck the right chords with me...
3DS/WiiU: Best roster, I love amiibos, and the internet doesn't suck!

Melee is my personal favorite in the series due to how good the gameplay is imo. The music is really good.

My favorite is the most recent one. The biggest roster, lots of content, and use of amiibos but it's missing characters such as Lucas. One thing that the original Smash doesn't have that I like about newer games are trophies, because I like collecting them. Honestly the best thing about the first Smash is nostalgia, nothing else.
