I'm still anxiously waiting for several others to respond, and it looks like we're down a teacher, but I have an idea. To minimize humans' downtime, a list of activities is put together for them to participate and interact with the locals. In no particular order, I have:

 

- Meet the Mane6 one by one,

 

- Take a trip to the Crystal Empire,

 

- Be special guests at a school (undecided which one, as I want them to travel across Equestria, but Ponyville Schoolhouse is the most likely candidate),

 

- Attend at least one formal ball or event with one pony of their choosing. Again, this is undecided as to which event, though...

 

- (Colette only) show off and play her guitars for Vinyl Scratch, and any other

 

- Locate a place to refurbish into a studio

 

*I can only speak for Colette when I say many of the events will be recorded for all the jealous Bronies back on Earth!

 

That's all I have for now, but I'll so your the input of your ideas is highly encouraged. I can't know what's on your mind if you don't say anything!

I'm honestly at a loss for where to come in; I suppose a messenger could run in saying that the humans have unexpectedly arrived early or something along those lines? Then, Wilhelm could be like "Oh, I'm not waiting on these ponies any more" and try and sneak into the cave. Honestly, I can't think of anything else that would fit as an action for him to take while remaining IC. Otherwise, again, I'm sitting here twiddling my thumbs.

You haven't missed all that much, really. Pretty much all of Equestria is abuzz that some Canterlot scientists have discovered humans, and about to bring two to Equestria.

 

In the meantime, Princess Cadance took a trip to Ponyville, and was made aware of the news as well. I'm gonna try and get her along with AJ, Rarity,and Fluttershy over to Sugarcube Corner so they can meet up with Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie, then finally bring Twilight into the mix, before fast fowarding a bit and bringing the humans in.

As one of the two Royal Princesses of Equestria, she is both Celestia's sister and co-ruler. Though once banished to the moon for threatening to plunge the world into eternal night under her persona of Nightmare Moon, Luna has returned to Equestria. While she returned again as Nightmare Moon, the Elements of Harmony purged her of her corruption along with most of her power. Slowly she has regained her abilities and now rules again over the night time, guarding sleeping ponies against the terrors of the dark.

This transition was not an easy one, as many still feared the legend of Nightmare Moon. But slowly her subjects have come to respect and love her again, trusting her even to wander through their private dreams. She has been quietly glad to see both Cadence and Twilight Sparkle in turn become Alicorn Princesses, spreading the burden of power more evenly. There is speculation that she might be jealous of Twilight, as Celestia pays her much attention, but thus far this seems to be baseless. As to the matter of humans, it is quite possible that Luna has known of their existence for a long time, but has remained silent for important reasons. What these might be has yet to be revealed.
