Fluttershy arrived when it looked like nopony else was around. She checked the clock and the schedule to find she was quite early. surprising that I'm here before anypony else, but it's good that this is all quiet. Fluttershy set down her bags and began waiting for her friends.

Speaking of friends, Applejack soon arrived with a full cart. She must be getting ready for all the humans. Other ponies also began to arrive, but Fluttershy didn't recognize any of them. "Hello Applejack. I'm sorry I am  bit too early, I guess finishing off preparations for my animal friends went much faster than I thought. I haven't see anypony else that we know arrive. Knowing Twilight, she should be here soon, we both know how she is with schedules," Fluttershy said in a low tone to make sure nopony else heard her.

"Hello Applejack," Fluttershy greeted. "I'm sorry I am bit too early, I guess finishing off preparations for my animal friends went much faster than I thought. I haven't seen anypony else that we know arrive."

"Well, it looks like we're both a bit early, Fluttershy," AJ responded as she undid her harness and sat beside her friend. "Nothin' else to do but sit here an' wait, Ah guess!"

"Knowing Twilight, she should be here soon, we both know how she is with schedules," Fluttershy added in a hushed tone, to which the farm pony chuckled. "Ah bet Twi'd go plumb crazy if she didn't have some sort a' list or schedule to adhere to! Hopefully, she don't run them Humans nuts with alla her organization!"

Applejack then looked up to the sky and snorted a little. "Even the princesses haven't arrived just yet. Celestia's just beginning to raise her sun, so everypony else may still just be sleepin'. Even Twi!"

Applejack fell silent a moment as she watched the ponies migrating to the platform as the whistle of the first train could heard in the distance. "Heh. To think we're gonna ride with the Stewards of the Sun, Moon and Love... Ah could never get used to thinkin' 'bout it. Hay, Ah'm still gettin' used to Twilight ascendin'..." Applejack said, before falling silent and looking out into the crowd once again.

"Ah'm sorry fer ramblin' like this. Ah'm just really nervousexcited 'bout everything is all."

As North wandered around the city, he looked for somewhere to eat. Entering the first place he found with what looked like food, a place of baked goods and such, he bought just enough to get around, and a little more just in case he got hungry later on. As he was chewing on a big muffin, he shoved a couple more he had gotten in a paper bag down in his own bag. Seemingly pleased, he was about to start looking around again as he was stopped by a familiar face.

"Ah, 'llo. Great to see ye too. It has been a little while now." he said, seeming pleased that he had randomly found a friend in a city as big as Canterlot.

@@Zhooves, "Far too long," Clover replied, smiling at North. "You certainly have grown a few more inches since the last time we met, I swear! I'm here cuz I have an invitation to meet the strange aliens at the palace. It's so exciting; I can't wait to see them and with any luck, I'll be able to actually talk to them. They must have many stories to tell about their home, and I think it'll be important to make a record of them for future generations to read about. I'm currently in the middle of writing my third spell book, but I think that an opportunity like this is too good to be missed."

Rainbow Dash awoke to another glorious Equestrian sunrise, a display that she was not usually awake early enough to see. She yawned slightly and looked down at the ground and saw two of her friends standing at the train platform.

"Hey, AJ! Fluttershy! I'm up here!" Rainbow yelled down at the two ponies situated a good distance below the cloud she was resting on. Dash had decided that she would sleep right above the train station, hoping to end up being first, like she usually was. Even with this advantage, AJ and Fluttershy still managed to beat her. The cyan pegasus swooped down from her perch and joined her friends on the platform.

"I can't believe you're here so early..." She remarked with a bit of a groan. "You ponies excited to meet the humans? I know I am!"

North let out a muffled chuckle. "Aye, I guess now that I have grown a little bit since last time. Fairly sure that it has stopped now though." he said, stretching out a wing as if to demonstrate. "A bit heavy for long, fast flight, though I do not often go anywhere that fast." he continued before folding it back.

"Aliens? You mean those things being spoken of all around?" he said, tilting his head a bit. "I am here for the same reason, of sorts. It mainly sounded interesting to me, something new to experience and see. I have no invitation, but I guess I will find a way."

'...we are pleased to inform you that you have been chosen, and will be invited to spend 100 days in our world, living amongst Equestrians as we learn more about your world.'

Colette looked over the mysterious scroll for the nth time as she ran a finger over the parchment, feeling its texture as she scrutinized the ink strokes carefully, as if doing so would finally reveal its secrets if she did. "Are guys sure it wasn't one of you??"

"Yeah, Cole. It wasn't us." Maddie deadpanned.

"But you did force Cole into that weird contest..." Jon said thoughtfully. "Maybe you planted the scroll in her locker..." he added.

"Okay. I totally got her combination, stuck a bunch of sparkly smoke into her locker with the scroll, and waited for the perfect moment." Maddie replied sarcastically. "Except no, none of that happened!"

Maddie had a good point. Colette raised an eyebrow at the mention of the lock. No one knew her combination but her, and she knew no one in her circle of friends had time nor cared to hang around before or after school to spring this prank...

"Guys, I'mma ask around. Maybe it was a Brony!" To that, they all grimaced and snickered nervously. "If it was, then they are a major creep!" Knate said.

"Oh God!" Colette said with a shudder. "Meet me at my locker after school, in case Stalker Brony shows up!"

"Will do!" Maddie chirped, and both boys nodded. "Yeah... if you notice anyone, be sure to get their face on camera, so we know what they look like!" Knate said with another snicker.

The bell to return to class rang then, prompting every student both in and outside of the cafeteria to hurriedly finish their lunch. "Okay, see you guys!" Colette said, already rising to her feet. "Keep your fingers crossed and hope I don't run into Creepazoid!"

*~*~*~*~*~*

The remainder of the day went by rather normally; more classes, more homework assignments, and a plethora of funny looks cast Colette's way upon showing the scroll to whomever she could ask -- all whilst the teachers weren't looking!

"I know you want answers and all, but of all people, did you really have to show the scroll to David Haskowitz, Cole??" Maddie asked as Colette opened the door to her bedroom. She stood to one side to allow Knate and Jon in, rolling her eyes at Maddie. "Well... Yeah! I thought he would know something, but how was I supposed to know he was gonna freak out like --THAT!"

Colette set her book bag down next to her desk as she said this, then plopped down into her chair. Her friends took their places on her bed and bean bag as she pulled out the scroll once again. "Turns out he's as big a Brony you can be, and he entered the contest as well. And~ now I owe him whatever merch I win. Also, now that half the school knows, it's time to make a video and make a fool of myself on YouTube while everyone mocks me on Twitter, Tumblr and Facebook!"

Colette had powered up her laptop and camera then, and after a quick disclaimer, began to record her next video:

>>DISCLAIMER: The following video contains stupid amounts of unbelievable bullsh*t that absolutely no one out there is going to buy. Not even we buy it, but it sadly doesn't make it any less true.

Also, we failed to record the event, and duly acknowledge we fail at life. ĦypnØ especially!

K, enjoi, bai!<<

"Hi everyone! Surprise video time! Remember that contest that Pail forced me enter?" At this, Maddie leaned in to the shot and waved, a manic grin on her face. and "Turns out some creepy prankster somehow got into my locker at school and put this in! I asked around and eventually came across a Brony, but quickly found out they be cray cray as FUCK!"

Colette then held up the scroll, seal facing the camera. Knate then moved into view adding, "This came with a bunch of purplply smoke. Luckily, there weren't any teachers around or else Colette would probably get suspended!"

"Thanks for that." Colette said flatly before unfurling the scroll and began to read its contents for her audience.

"...To prove this letter is not a forgery or some trick, you will receive a key, along with further instructions upon your return home."

Colette looked around herself as she rolled the scroll back up, craning her neck this way and that as she looked behind her, spotting nothing out of the ordinary but her friends. "Welp, no key, so it looks like this whole thing's a fake. Nice job working on the scroll, though!"

Colette barely got a chance to finish what she said before she heard her friends cry out. Turning to face them, she caught sight of what made them start, and quickly turned her camera to face it as well.

A ball of the purple smoke from earlier appeared in midair, sparkling and spilling out before dissipating entirely, leaving behind a large golden key attached to yet another scroll.

Both fell to the floor rather unceremoniously with a dull thud, but left the observing party in stunned silence.

Colette was the first to move, reaching down and picking up the key and inspecting it a bit, marvelling at how surprisingly hefty it was. Upon its bow was some sort of insignia comprised of a sun, moon, a heart, and what Colette could only assume were stars.

"What in the hell!"

Pinkie woke up early, setting to her planning with the excitement and eagerness of a mad scientist. She was determined to make this the biggest and best party the Humans had ever seen. Perhaps they'd tell their friends back in the human world what a Pinkie Party is really like. After all, there's only so much that TV show could really say about them, especially Pinkie. Once she had a rough idea in mind, she raced downstairs and rushed through breakfast so she could get down to the train station super quick.

A short while later (and a little off-screen teleporting), Pinkie ended up at the train station. "HIYA GIRLS!" She called out excitedly at full volume shortly before approach. "Are you excited? I'm excited! I've never been so excited! Except for the time Twilight came to Ponyville! And the time we faced off with Discord! Oh, and the time..." Pinkie said, starting to ramble on about many of their adventures that she'd found exciting.

Princess Celestia

Celestia was in preparations of her own, directing and instructing her staff in what was needed while also offering advise to those uncertain or curious of what would come. Many, though not all, of her duties for the day had been delegated to other ponies with some meetings being postponed or rescheduled. Though she would not admit it, the princess was a bit nervous herself, while also being excited as well, yet she reminded herself that all would be fine.

What did worry her though is how her sister Luna really hadn't said much and given her feelings on the humans coming to Equestria there was worry of how she was doing. Celestia was more then willing to work with her sister, as she had made it clear she understood the risks as to the worse of humanity. Yet, as she had shown Twilight, fer friends, Spike, and Cadance there was much good as well.

With a sigh she would say softly to herself, “Sister dear, please don't stay mad at me. I would like you to be a part of this, though this is not as you wish.” The princess did wonder where the youngest was, yet for now she would leave Luna be and greet those arrival of her beloved Twilight and the others at the train station. As such Celestia would wait for their appearance with two guards by her side, many ponies looking in her direction and wondering why she was there.

As she waited, the princess would move her ears to the conversations of ponies around her. While not all of them involved the coming of humans to their world, many ponies and others were in discussion of what was to come today. Some would speak in excitement, others, of worry or uncertainty, while others seemed to even doubt it was happening.

Applejack told her to stay home. She promised to ask the others if she could help out and welcome the humans should they arrive in Ponyville. But she wanted to see them NOW! If only Sweetie Belle or Scootaloo could go with her... why'd they have to go and get grounded at the same time??

It didn't matter now. All that mattered was to get onto the train without being spotted by Applejack or any of her friends! Apple Bloom ducked down a little, digging her chin into the knot of her bonnet a little bit further as her big sister came into view, hoping against hope that her mission wouldn't be compromised before it even began!

Apple Bloom adjusted the lapels of her overcoat as she backed into a crowd of ponies who just arrived at the already overcrowded station, thanking Celestia for the cover and hoped to continue to blend in with the throng of passengers at least until she arrived in Canterlot!

She was not expecting to see that very pony in the least however, and was a little more than surprised when she spotting the princess approaching, two Royal Guards on either side of her. It was all she could do keep from gasping as she bowed along with anypony else that saw Celestia, then quickly made her way to the far corner of the station platform, reaching into her coat and pulling out a well-worn copy of the newspaper, and opening it for added cover. Apple Bloom knew Applejack spoke to Celestia herself! And if Celestia spotted her...

'Oh, please don't notice me! Ah don't wanna get caught~!'

"And with that mind-destroyingly frustrating-" A brief jump-cut flashed to Alex forcing on a smile after playing the first two nights of FNAF 1 and making an attempt on the third. "Lovely genius game... I'm officially done here. If you liked this video, click like. If you want to see more of AJVoiceOvers, don't hesitate to subscribe. I'm AJ from AJVoiceOvers, signing off. Bang..."

With his outro done, he ended the recording mode. He felt awful after playing Five Nights at Freddy's, though as annoyed as he was towards the people who continually suggested he play it, he couldn't quite hate them. For one, it would require he acknowledge they were responsible for shaving yet more years off his life and some likely suggested it because they thought he'd like it. Then there were the comments on YouTube and other forums his fans sent him about people saying they liked him better when he covered certain games that he no longer played.

But such was life, he was making a bit of money off YouTube, though he hadn't quite gotten there yet. What was most pressing was this scroll with a key that would be arriving this afternoon. Alex was skeptical, of course, refusing to believe the first scroll was real until he saw this key and a good explanation to go with it. After a while of nothing, Alex started to edit his video, taking out chunks where nothing happened and he wasn't saying anything, as well as many of his repeated deaths. Then, in a puff of smoke, the key and scroll appeared for Alex as well, landing on the bed with a soft thud. He turned to look at these things, staring in disbelief as he went to inspect them. "What in the world..."

Rarity had a confession to make: "fashionably late," as long as it applied to her, wasn't actually a proper thing to do. It was more an excuse for her to sleep in and take her time on her makeup to get ready for the day. That meant that she tended to use that excuse more often for early morning appointments than others (insofar as "early" and "morning" applied to Rarity, at least).

But then, there also came a point where, no matter the reasoning and excuse, "fashionably late" changed into just plain "late." And Rarity was sure that point was rapidly approaching now.

Ponyfeathers, Rarity swore. There were a number of issues that needed to be settled before she could leave. Opal needed her services, her daytrip supplies needed to be gathered, and most importantly, she needed to be presentable for the day. It didn't really help that she woke up late that day, either. Pressed for time as she was, she did manage to feed Opal, and she did gather most of her travel things (at least she thought she did), but she forwent her morning beautification routine entirely. A travesty, certainly, but Rarity was sure she could find a few minutes somewhere to do what she needed to. Her friends would forgive her.

Bags of makeup, cosmetics, clothing, dresses, and emergency breakdown supplies (one always needed to be prepared, after all) were tossed into the foyer of her Boutique haphazardly into a small mountain of bags and suitcases. She was only anticipating that she would be gone for a few days; that was why it was not a large mountain. One last check to make sure Opal and her Boutique were copasetic, and Rarity levitated up all her bags behind her and trotted out the door to the train station.

The day was outside was bright, and the scant clouds did little to obscure the sun. At least I won't have to worry about the weather today, Rarity thought. The sun was rapidly making its ascent into the sky, already about four hooves above the horizon. It would take a rather generous definition of "morning" for anypony to say that it was still that time of day, but Rarity had woken up not an hour ago. As far as she was concerned, it was still morning, and it was just too early to chasing trains. Regardless, she also knew that her friends were probably waiting for her by now. She quickened her pace, hoping that the train they were due to board was delayed by at least a few minutes.

In due time, the station peeked over the horizon. As expected, all her friends were already there, along with Princess Celestia, apparently. Rarity briefly entertained the possibility of asking her to roll back the sun a few degrees to give her a few more minutes to put on some makeup, but alas, the world didn't really work that way. The dull thumps of her hooves on the ground grew sharper as she stepped onto the platform.

"Greetings, all," Rarity called out. "I'm here." Thankfully, the train had not arrived yet. The aura surrounding the bags and suitcases behind her faded, and they tumbled to the ground in an unceremonious pile. With that, her hind legs seemed to give out behind her, and Rarity dropped to the ground, panting. "I apologize— —for the delay. I woke up late, and there was simply— —simply so much to do," she said, attempting to catch her breath at the same time. Levitating many bundles of suitcases behind her was tiring, despite how she made it appear. That, and perhaps Rarity was slightly less fit and slightly more marshmallow-y than she cared to admit to anyone.

Not that it's a problem... Fluttershy quickly bowed to the Princess as she approached. "Um, hello Princess Celestia. I was wondering, if you don't mind me asking, um, why you were still in Ponyville? Late in the evening, while most everypony was asleep, Cadance had slipped out of Ponyville on the last train north. She hadn't intended to make anyone worry, but rather wanted to fill Shiny in on the news from the day. She had left a rather large, visible note at the train station, and had hoped that nobody would take it down, considering who it was to.

She had barely made the last train. It wasn't like it was a plan. Rather she had been up quite late, wondering, worrying about the humans. Long part the time when she had made out faces out of the patterns in the ceiling to amuse herself, she finally made the decision to go home. Relief filled her as the train carried her towards her husband.

And so it was that she arrive before anypony else in the group from the day before at Canterlot station, and made her way to the castle hoping for an early morning pick me up. She felt a bit guilty leaving without so much as a word to anypony, but at the same time, Shiny had made her feel a lot better. He usually had the effect on her. She wished again that he could join the group in Canterlot, but understood well that his duties came first.

In the usual din that filled the kitchen, Cadance dodged between members of the staff to make herself some coffee, as well as slipping a danish off a passing tray. Then she settled in to review the Canterlot Times. Chewing slowly she quickly discarded the paper, as it seemed to profess the end times, and a hostile overthrow of Equestria. She rolled her eyes and delved back into her mind, and the conversations she and Shining had had the night prior.

Celestia's sharp eye would catch a number of things, not only that Twilight and her friends were all there though it looked like Rarity was running a bit later then the others. There was also, her sister Luna, and to her surprise she also caught sight of Applebloom trying to blend in with the crowd of ponies. The princess' gaze would fall on her, letting the young filly know that she had seen her.

Yet for the moment she would merely smile and offer a brief nod, before turning her attention to everyone that had gather waiting for the train. Offering a few small greetings and nods to those bowing, she would walk over to them with the pair of guards following.

“Greetings, each of you,” Celestia would say warmly as she looked to each in turn, though she would pause and offer a look of some concern to her sister as she studied Luna for a moment. The princess would not say anything, not yet, though her eyes would offer and idea of what she was thinking and of her worry for the midnight mare. Looking to her student she would say, “So is everyone here and ready to leave? I hope you are all prepared for what is to come.”

Considering her sister's words, Celestia would offer some agreement, “Yes, having a plan may be in order, though she should still make sure our guest feel welcome. We don't want them to get the wrong idea or feel unwanted.” Hearing the words under her breath, she would place a hoof on Luna's shoulder before saying softly so that only her little sister could hear, “I understand sister, please give them a chance.”

The princess would chuckle at Fluttershy's question before answering, “Still in Ponyville? I have just arrived recently, I came here from Canterlot. I thought meeting you in Ponyville may be better then simply waiting at the Canterlot train station for you to arrive.”

"Hi, girls!" Spike said as he waved to his friends. Applejack managed to get in a quick " Howdy, Spike!" before Twilight mentioned Rarity, causing the farm pony to snicker a little at the baby dragon's reaction; He looked adorable whenever he looked around for his love interest. "I hope Rarity turns up, too. I don't think she would miss this for Equestria."

Spike wouldn't have to wait long, for the errant Rarity finally arrived, albeit looking uncharacteristically raw and panting hard.

"Greetings, all," the Unicorn began, still panting, "I'm here." Rarity's luggage unceremoniously fell to the ground as she released it from her magic. "I apologize— —for the delay. I woke up late, and there was simply— —simply so much to do." she explained. The poor dear looked utterly ragged, so Applejack stepped forward, looked for the heaviest looking suitcases, then grabbed one and hefted another onto her back and took another into her mouth as Twilight levitated the others and loading them into a baggage car.

"It's nice of the elder princesses to accompany us to Canterlot, isn't it?" Applejack heard Twilight say.

Wait, what?! Applejack whipped her head around to see the goddess approach the platform, accompanied by two guards. It only took a second for Applejack to compose herself and bow deeply to Celestia, mentally cursing for not spotting her earlier.

"Um, hello Princess Celestia." Fluttershy said in that soft voice, "I was wondering, if you don't mind me asking, um, why you were still in Ponyville? I thought you were in Canterlot preparing for the humans?"

“Greetings, each of you,” Celestia responded, looking over to a rather short pony pulling out a newspaper before returning. “So is everypone here and ready to leave? I hope you are all prepared for what is to come.”

"Ready as we'll ever be, Princess!" Applejack chirped. "Ah'm gettin' more an' more excited just thinking 'bout them arriving! Ah wanna see what they're like!"

Looking over a bit, Applejack noticed that not only had Princess Celestia joined them, but Princess Luna had arrived as well. "Greetings, everypony."

Applejack bowed to the Lunar deity as she addressed the group of Ponies.

"I hope that we are all prepared for what this day may bring forth." Luna then turned to Twilight and flashed her an uneasy smile before adding, "I trust that you have today all planned out, as well as a contingency plan if the worst should happen. You have taken my opinion on this matter seriously, correct?" Luna the sighed and muttered something under her breath, decidedly less enthused then the others.

“Yes, having a plan may be in order, though we should still make sure our guests feel welcome. We don't want them to get the wrong idea or feel unwanted.” Celestia said then moved over to her sister, and whispered something into her ear.

"I still think there's nothing to worry about," Twilight responded, seemingly unfazed by Luna's tone; in fact, she seemed more excited than usual... "I'm looking forward to making a study of them."

"Easy, there Twi." Applejack said, leaning in to whisper into the young princess' ear. "We're every bit as excited as you are, but Ah'm sure they'd like their space and would like to get used to us first!" Applejack then straightened up and plastered a big smile on her face. "Well, everypony but Cadance is here, but other than that--"[/color]

The whistle blast of the Friendship Express cut AJ off as it approached the station. Oh no! Cadance wasn't here just yet! Frantically looking around, AJ spotted a note attached to a post. She raced over and grabbed it.

"Canterlot! Express train for Canterlot! All aboard who's coming aboard!" the conductor called out. "Come on, everypony! Cadance'll left a note sayin' she'll meet us there!"

With that, AJ loaded her cart into another luggage car, then stepped onto the train alongside Rarity. "You alright there, sugar cube? Ah've never seen you without yer makeup!"

Applejack quickly found a seat as she awaited her friend's reply, motioning for her to sit next to her.

This was it. They were on their way to planning the biggest party Equestria's ever seen yet! AJ could only hope that the humans found it as entertaining as the ponies no doubt would...

Princess Luna

@@Hypn0ticD, @@bronislav84, @@EquestrianScholar, @@Derplight Sperkle, @@Yoshi89,

The princess would nod to each pony as they greeted her, a small smile slowing appearing on her face, though that smile would quickly go away as she listened to their conversations. It would appear that not many shared the fear and concerns that she harbored inside her. "..To me they are uninvited..." she would mutter so only she could hear. Looking to Twilight once more, she would say. "Please be careful in your studies of them. Do not do anything that could be taken the wrong way. We do not need a repeat of the Yak incident from earlier this year."

Forcing a smile to her sister, she would say, "I know big sister. It is just that we have not had the best track record as of late with visitors. Many things I have learned through the dreams of our subject, and I can assure all of you that not everypony is excited as our group seems to be." Sighing, Luna would lower her head. "Not only do I fear for our subjects, but also our visitors well being...."

Luna would be interrupted by the train's whistle. Luna would enter the car and make her way towards the rear of the car. Taking her seat, she would close her eyes as if in meditation.

Apple Bloom felt her stomach drop when Celestia's eye fell on her. Does she.... Does she know?! If she does, will she tell AJ?! 'No, Celestia! Please don't tell AJ! She'll have Granny Smith ground me forever!'

Celestia seemed to read her mind, as she offered a smile, then addressed AJ and her friends, but not once did Applejack look her way... Apple Bloom wiped a bead of sweat from her brow and breathed a sigh of relief at that. Arrow dodged!

Surprise caught Apple Bloom again as not only Celestia joined her sister and her friends, but Princess Luna as well. 'What's she doing here?! If she's here, then--!' Apple Bloom took a few steps back. As much as she wanted to run up to her and say hi, she knew she would be caught. 'Gotta stay here!'

"Canterlot! Express train for Canterlot! All aboard who's coming aboard!"

"Finally! Ah'm dyin' in this coat!" Apple Bloom muttered to herself. She watched as her sister and her friends board the train, subconsciously adjusting her lapels and sunglasses before boarding the car behind the party. This was it. She was about to be the first filly in her class to see the humans! 'Maybe if I'm lucky and sneaky enough, I'll be able to even meet them before the others! Then I'll be the coolest filly in school for sure!' Apple Bloom quickly found a seat near a window and removed her sunglasses and coat as the train departed for Canterlot...

~*~*~*~*~*~

Apple Bloom's eyes widened as the capital city came ever closer, the many towers of the Princesses' castle coming into more and more detail. "Ah can't believe Ah'm here again!" Apple Bloom breathed, taking in the sights. "Ah'll never get used to this place!"

Apple Bloom watched as Applejack and her friends departed their car, slipped her sunglasses and coat back on, and exited her car once she surmised everyone was far enough ahead.

She raced over to the first thing she could hide behind, which happened to be a large cart, and peeked around. Nopony was looking back.

Okay. She accomplished getting to Canterlot. Now to find where the humans will arrive!

~*~*~*~*~*~

Applejack noticed Luna's quickly fading smile, but said nothing. Seems like she still harbored some negative feelings for the visitors...

"Please be careful in your studies of them. Do not do anything that could be taken the wrong way. We do not need a repeat of the Yak incident from earlier this year."

"But it all worked out in the end, Princess Luna... Pinkie worked a miracle and Prince Rutherford left Equestria all smiles!" Applejack interjected.

Luna had moved on to address her sister, however, stating that not everypony was as enthused as they were. To be fair, that was to be expected! But perhaps Pinkie's party will give both the otherworldly guests and Equestrians a change to really form a bond!

The whistle doubtlessly caught everypony's attention as the train pulled into the station. Applejack wasted no time in boarding the train, sitting next to Rarity as soon as she was able to spot a seat.

~*~*~*~*~*~

"Canterlot! Next stop, Canterlot!"

"Whoo-whee! We're finally here, y'all! Let's get on over to the castle and get that party started!" Applejack said, rearing up and rolling her forelegs from excitement. She walked alongside Rarity once again as she pulled her cart toward the castle, feeling more and more giddy. 'Why, Ah could even pull a Pinkie Pie right about now!'

This was it. In just a few hours, Equestria would receive visitors like no other!

Spike waited until Twilight levitated his luggage along with her own onto one train car. Then he accompanied her in walking Applejack onto another car for the passengers. Applejack and Rarity took one row of seats and Spike sat in the next row forward, motioning for Twilight to sit next to him.

"At least I don't have to bring any pets with me this time around," he admitted with a bashful grin.

------

The whistle and sudden slowdown of the train drifted Spike awake from his nap, stretching on his seat as he saw the station come into view. When the train made a complete stop, he slithered off the row and joined Twilight in her friends on disembarking the car.

"You'd better hope the visitors like partying as much as Pinkie Pie does," Spike told Applejack.
