Well, to assume she has a middle name is to assume that Equestrian naming conventions are similar to that of naming convention on Earth; or at least as far as specific cultures are concerned. It's possible that the concept of middle names just doesn't exist; and it's possible that he same can be said for first and last names as well; considering Twilight Sparkle and Shining Armor.

 

So, if I have to say, I would say there is no middle name for Rainbow Dash.

Well, if she had one, it's unknown. Her name is already good as it is. Rainbow Dash, like Daring Do, flows well.

My speculation just comes from the fact we don't hear of middle names from other ponies; Pinkie being the exclusive one. Don't see why people are arguing over the whole "Danger" "Professionalism" "Responsibility" thing, it's pretty obvious that the writers picked that up from just about every other form of entertainment ever. As for the concept of a middle name existing, I'm pretty sure Pinkie Pie's formal name "Pinkamena Diane Pie" that her mother specifically calls her by should be proof enough

 

As for Rainbow Dash, it's possible that she has a middle name, but I doubt it'd matter

I heard Athena once, and it just ticked all of my little boxes.

 

It's ironic, cause RD being named after the god of wisdom is . I can picture her parents teasing her about this endlessly, to the point where she's learned not to tell her middle name to anyone. Ever. It also fits with that ancient Greek/Pegasus theme perfectly and causes her initials to spell out RAD. Everything about this name is wonderful.
