How do you feel about the My Little Pony: FIENDship is magic comic series?

I felt that it was really fun and a unique twist on the My Little Pony universe.

Overall I found them to be great reads, and a few were very thought provoking. I wasn't the type to dislike Sombra, but his issue really made me wish we saw more of him in the show. Nightmare Moon's was superb too, and (for me) improved the Nightmare Rarity arc a little. I haven't read #5 yet but I'm safe in saying that the series was a success for me.

They wanted too, but Hasbro denied that request. This usually indicates that the show has something in mind and they don't want the comic to conflict it.

To be honest, I was really dissapointed. Its not a success, most of the Stories were failures.

 

I liked Chryssy and sombra, but past that? Meh to Bleh.
Like, Tirek's one is just straight up incomplete (it feels like they handed me half a comic), the nightmare moon one had potential and a good premise but was executed poorly, and the siren one was just... Like, it feels like they either didn't care for the siren comic or they were alcoholically impaired when writing it.

Chryssy 8.8/10

Tirek: 5.5/10

Nightmare moon: 4/10

Sirens: 2/10

 

 

I Very much want to see a continuation on Sombra, Chrys and Tirek, and NMM has potential, but overall? its just not "Good". A success would be ALL of those being 7 or above.

Personally I feel that it was a success; thought not everything matched up to the hype.

 

The Sombra, Chrysalis and Tirek issues were BY FAR the best and I feel the stories that we got were engaging, and some down-right thought-provoking. The Sombra issue especially was very good.

 

The Sirens was hit and miss, while NMM could've been better had the scope been toned-down somewhat.

 

In any case I want to see more.

Well, you can purchase them digitally through Comixology or iTune/iBooks. You can probably find them on YouTube as well, but if you can I'd go for purchasing them. Nothing replaces the HQ copies.

 

Conversely you might can order physical copies through Amazon, EBay, or the like, or you can find them in the local comic shop; possibly.
