I got brave this July and rode on a plane for the first time since 2005. Only after consulting with a doctor to make sure that my ears would be okay.

It's so freeing! My parents and I are hoping to go take a trip to explore New England early next year and me being able to fly makes that a lot simpler.

Yes, I went yesterday, and the week before, and the week before, and the week before, and the week before… on a little Cessna 172  . Training to become an instructor. Thankfully haven’t gotten too broke yet.

Yes I have! I have flown a lot since last year, I love flying and eventually am going to get my pilot's license.

Yep. Been to New York back in summer 2007. That was the only time I've ever been on an airplane. And my flight back home was the scariest, most frightening turbulence through a severe nasty thunderstorm I've ever experienced.

I've never been on an airplane before, probably because I don't often go really far to places.

Been on them many times, probably close to a hundred - although the vast majority of these flights have been two hours or under in length. I hate flying and would always prefer to drive or sail where I can, but it's not always convenient.
