I was wondering if you were ever going to get a scanner.

 

1. YES!!!

 

2. My favorite is a tie between the 2nd Rarity picture, your Sweetie Belle drawing, the Lyra drawing, the Octavia drawing, the Gilda one was really nice looking too, and... Errr... I have a lot of favorites in this collection. My least favorite is probably the Discord "battle" drawing. Only because I'm not quite sure that I understand it fully.

 

3. I'm not an artist, so I'm not going to be able to be much help here. (Well, I do some vectors, but very little original work and most of my vectors are freakin' terrible. This is why I rarely post them.)

 

4. YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! (Should I add more, or will this suffice?)

Thanks bro. That Discord Battle thing is a play on Final Fantasy type games...ANYWAY, I was kind of losing all my motivation to draw and stuff when I was making this thread but, then I though, y'know I have talent I guess and I don't want to waste it. I will keep drawing, even if only one person enjoys them.

1. YES YES YES YES YES!!! Your drawings are great!!! You really shouldn't judge yourself too harshly on them.

 

2. I love the Lyra, Bon Bon, Derpy, Cider-holding AJ, Braeburn, Shrugging Fluttershy, Octavia, second Rarity, Rose, colored Scootaloo, and Vinyl Scratch pics. As for least favorite, that goes to your original attempt at AJ... Or as you pegged it, the terrible monstrosity.

 

3. I'm with Scootacool here, can't really give you any tips on stuff like this :/ But you do a great job with it either way!

My favorite would have to be the Gilda drawing.

 

Some art tips. Do you use guide lines? If not those help, also if you draw the general body shape and then add aesthetics that helps IMMENSELY.

You can find TONS of pictures showing how to do guidelines, in the end though, no matter your art style, it's usually just a bunch of circles XD

1. Not particularly, but don't let that discourage you.

2. No.

3. You definitely seem to be having fun drawing this stuff and that's always good. As for critiques, I can't stress enough that you should learn to rough out your drawings before you do the final lines and colour; that will solve most all of the issues they have (things like Derpy's asian eyes, the inconsistent leg-lengths and lack of volume to the shapes). If you want your drawings to look better and, eventually, on a professional level, never begin a drawing with a stroke you intend to still be there in the final drawing. Rough everything out first, pick out your final lines from the rough, clean them up, then erase the rough (or trace the final lines onto a new page), then colour and shade.

4. Absolutely. Like all skills, artistic ability grows with practice.
