Since the ponies of the round table (the mane six and their round table) are going out on quests to reform towns in need of help they recently sent lady Pinkie Pie and lady Rainbow Dash to deal with the Griffons. I'm guessing the dragon city is next?

I suspect that the dragons are not one kingdom but many due to the variety of different dragon species in mythology though it is indeed possible for them to visit dragons.

The dragons do not seem to be that united. I think the show suggested that they're nomadic anyway. Probably only settle down once they get a great big hoard of gold and a cave to stash it in and they just keep guard. I doubt there is really any dragon city at all but the creators of the show can do whatever they want. Heck it might even become a trend in these adventure episodes that the Mane 6 travel to places outside Equestria.

 

I'd rather we see some new species now. One where Rarity and Applejack go visit the Sea Ponies to solve their problems, for example.

Or maybe they could visit Tirek's home nation, see if Scorpan is still around.

 

Or Fluttershy and Rarity could find Iron Will's Hometown?

I would love if the mane 6 go to other areas in Equestria and explore new lands. I'd love to see where Tirek and his brother came from and maybe some lands where dragons or other interesting creatures live.
