I appreciate this episode more now than I did years ago. Even if you don't understand every single reference I think it's still a blast you can just sit and not think for a while. So much fun.

I had the pleasure to watch this episode last week again. For the third or fourth  time in my life. I still love this one. So many wonderful things hidden in this episode.

Background character and their story and relationships, a good portion of Derpy, self awareness of the show like Sweetie Belle's "Maybe it's just a friendship problem, and it'll all be cleared up in half an hour or so.", a reappearing of side charachters like Steven, so many memes (jumping the shark), a good portion of Derpy, a thinking Gummy and of cours the legendary hidden photo of the creators. Also did I mention that Derpy appears in this episode :derp:

It is not my fav episode of FiM but really a strong one and I love it :>

I love the silliness of this episode and the multiple plots going on!

It's a loose episode not meant to be taken too seriously, though a good reminder that it's an active world beyond the main cast's adventures.

Derps committing child labor though is something else :sealed:

This was amazing. It's zany in all the right ways. I'm so glad we got to see the background ponies take the spotlight. Also, so much shipping ammo! It's not meant to be taken super seriously. It's just meant to be a good time, and it is.

Honestly not one of my favorite episodes, I personally would preferred separate episodes about each character / situation seen here, I think their had their own individual story potential, but I understand the goal of this episode, it was really fun a interesting to see what happens while the Mane Six are doing their protagonist stuff, so I celebrate that it was made (as it is the 100th episode), I actually like to see this episode (and maybe Season 5 as a whole) as a demonstration of Hasbro and the team behind the show finally embracing the fandom, I really feel like that the first 4 Seasons were mostly made around the target audience, while Season 5 onwards was made with the fans and the audience getting older in mind, which is really great (as much as I like the first 4 more :ButtercupLaugh:, also i actually think they started this not in Season5 but in EG Movie 2)

also, the concept of this episode reminds me of those "5 stories" episodes from Adventure Time, which there was a Small Guy in Space (or he was big? Can't remember) showing a normal day in the life of different characters all at the same time, not sure if it was a inspiration but I remember those episodes being fun
