Sorry to tell you the bad news, but you've really only made things worse.

 

It seems that you are trying to make it so that every single aspect of her life is as interesting and unique as it could possibly be, to the point where it is just completely ridiculous. Let's just list a few things to point out just how ridiculous it is.

 

Mindie is a software-writing genius, who started a company after graduating College as a teenager. But that's not all, she's a Musician that everyone loves, including those who hate the genre, from what I understand. Not only that, but she creates Scientific theories that are respected by scientists. Oh yes, and she's extremely athletic and attractive to boot.

 

Then there's her parents. A lesbian couple, which one of them is actually a transexual male, and really Mindie's father. And she herself is a masochistic lesbian, who enjoys reenacting Viking battles and Fursuiting? Let's hope she doesn't do all of that at once.

 

I'm sorry, but your character is just flat out a Mary-Sue, and a bad one at that. Nothing will change that except a complete rewrite of the character, where she is given some actual flaws and not just bothersome third parties.

You can still apply as a Unicorn. We originally had it at one per race, but we increased the number of total slots and decided to make a maximum of two per pony race. Just give us a link and the human backstory then we will decide from there.

That sounds good to me. Besides, having a weather-based person will make things interesting. Imagine what sort of crazy shenanigans a Meteorologist would get to as a Pegasus. When he predicts rain, it's cause he's going to go out there and drop it on you personally!

It's a very easy mistake to make, to godmod like this. But try to be careful in the future.

Also, one thing: Lunaris was planning on responding and was JUST about to post as you did anyway picking up the note. I'd recommend just editing your post to reflect that.

1. I'm not saying the collision was in the same area, nor that it was the same collision that you described, and therefore there would not have been the note in this instance.

 

Basically, your post, your collision, and your note left behind, and then a second collision, with my character.

 

If you'd prefer the collision you described to be one and the same that I described, I'll edit my post further. For now I'll edit it so your character doesn't necessarily fall.

Misunderstandings can be easily corrected with communication. There's no need to feel that way, and I'm sorry you do. There were some simple mistakes here that can be fixed, and then we can move on and continue. I'd recommend you not be intimidated by that and stay, but if you still wish to leave, we will honor your wishes.

I think I'll just delete my first entry in the RP, and wait for a more opportune moment to introduce my character.

As I understand it, Anatase, Celestial Sun and Talisman Duskstripe are students at the university and Gut Feeling is a private investigator hired by someone other than the university, leaving Lunaris Adamantine and Aero Wind as the only characters who are staff at the university. I wouldn't imagine university staff would be expected to give a specific student something, they're usually expected to provide their own things or they'll have them already available in the classroom. If Lunaris is going to deliver something to another character, I think it would make the most sense for that character to be Aero, since no-one else works at the university. I mentioned Aero was expecting some new anemometers to be delivered, to give a reason for Lunaris to meet Aero later if you want to go down that route.

 

Also, I realized I never got a clear answer to this: Does weather in the 'human Crystal City University world' follow real world physics or 'pony Equestria world' physics? I had assumed it was the former in my post, but I'll edit it if I was wrong about that.

It's just real world physics, as in Equestria Girls, there's no magic or anything. The people are just mundane.

Well, this is quite ridiculous.

 

I was actually just making up a name out of nowhere. It was supposed to be just a random professor at the University, so I made up a name for him. It was an accident that I happened to choose the name that belongs to your character.

 

I'll change the name to something else, and double check that no one in the roleplay shares it.

There isn't only one slot left for non-pony characters. It's just that we want at least one more non-pony in the roleplay other than our characters. Sorry about it being confusingly worded in the OP.  The two remaining slots can both be non-ponies.

 

That said, you are Accepted. I'll count it as a non-pony slot, so the final slot can go to a unicorn. Very interesting stuff here, I like the incorporation of his Changlingness into his human self by faking his own death.

 

Feel free to post in the RP any time. We've just started, so there's room for another newcomer to pop in.

At first I wasn't quite sure how to incorporate both sides of him, but since the concept behind him was how being two-faced can affect a person psychologically, I thought it would be fitting that he was involved in the criminal underworld, one of the most loathed career paths, and a life in the military, one of the most respected careers. The conflict between being seen as an officer-in-training by society while simultaneously avoiding being offed by the underworld fit well with his Equestrian form being stuck between two warring factions.

Saw your post in the RP thread, and I've got to say it should be interesting should Gut Feeling ever find out you're friends with one of the missing students particularly if it's the missing student whose parents have hired him.

If that's what you want, it's perfectly okay. It doesn't matter when it happens, really. Just try to get in one post before you go, cause the situation your character is involved in kinda needs attention. After that, it's not a problem at all.

 

However, we might not even be transported to Equestria until the time you get back, so we'll just have to see what happens, won't we? Either way, I'm sure it'll all work out well.

I wanted to get some interaction in before I leave, but if nothing's happened in about... 20 hours, I'll put in a post that involves her heading home for the day, missing who she believes to be the culprit, and school continuing on as normal for her while you guys do whatever happens in the RP while I'm gone.

 

 

Dang, ran out of time. Okay. Putting in a post where she decides not to think about it, but I'll try and use her paranoia as character building for later. See you all in a week!
