Revy 184 July 13, 2015 Share July 13, 2015 Yeah, I know this is a pretty weird topic discussion but for some reason it's always interested me, being quite an accident prone person myself I wonder what you guys have been through? If it is really graphic then please keep it too a decent level, don't want to hear about blood and guts everywhere! Worst one I have had is the one I have at the moment / had very recently. I fell backwards and caught myself on my one arm stretched out straight behind me, I heard this horrible noise and felt my shoulder pop out of place and was in alot of pain. I spent 15 HOURS waiting in accident and emergency, got an x-ray , got it pushed back into place and was told too wear a sling for two weeks (yeah right) and exercise it. Got to be honest i've slacked on both and im kinda paying for it atm... may need to get it checked out again soon! 2 https://soundcloud.com/tifa-lockheart-
Kyoshi Frost Wolf 41,934 July 13, 2015 Share July 13, 2015 I am usually pretty cautious but I remember one clear moment when I got into a fight with a kid many years back and he had an object of some sort in his hand, hit me in the head with it, and basically, I was bleeding, a decent amount. That was pretty terrible, but I know many have experienced much worse. I have not had many major injuries in my life.
S.F. 1,560 July 13, 2015 Share July 13, 2015 I've never had anything too bad, I guess the worst was when I was riding my bike without a helmet (push bike, not a motorbike), and my front wheel hit a rock, throwing it off at a 90 degree angle, and I naturally went down and hit my head on another rock. Was apparently out cold for a fair amount of time and got the blue lights and everything in the ambulance. Now I always wear a helmet! *Insert deep, intelligent and witty signature here*

S.F. 1,560 July 13, 2015 Share July 13, 2015 I believe the most painful thing I've ever had -- maybe not really an "injury" -- a was a bee sting I got, also a really long time ago. I remember screaming in pain for many hours and having to wear an ice pack on my arm to be able to fall asleep that night. It's possible I am a bit of a wimp when it comes to pain. ^-^' Apparently when I was a 1 year old I managed to step on a bee (and got stung) - happily I can't remember it - but they are meant to be painful! *Insert deep, intelligent and witty signature here*
Lost 1,410 July 13, 2015 Share July 13, 2015 I got knocked off a pushbike by a van about 6 years ago now, i snapped my left arm in half, the bone came out and i was told that there would be a high chance they would have to amputate it because of dirt getting into the bone marrow, fortunately i kept my arm but they had to put permanent metal plates in to keep it set in place :/ Your friendly neighborhood alcoholic motorcyclist Life is too short to worry what others think of you, be creative, be weird, live life. Gearbox10mm 794 July 13, 2015 Share July 13, 2015 I've never had anything too bad, nothing I've had to go to the doctor for anyway. A few of the more notable incidents. * A bad burn on my leg from a three wheeler's muffler. * A broken big toe from setting a 55 gallon drum full of scrap metal on it. * A hyper extended thumb * A sharp cedar stick stabbed through the side of my shoe and into the bottom of my foot. * I got sun burned so bad once, I couldn't wear a shirt for a few days. * Smashed my thumb under the end of a rifle barrel. The worst was probably a machete cut to my wrist.
Mesme Rize 15,687 July 13, 2015 Share July 13, 2015 When i was 18, i was playing football, because our company where holding a little tournament between the departments during open house day. I was in the goal, it was still 0-0 and without any sort physical contact, i fell on the ground, my ligaments where stretching in a very unnormal way. The pain was really bad and i thought something really bad has happend, like i wouldn't be able to walk for months. I couldn't get up and i lied there in the hot summer sun, with 20 spectators watching. It took 20 seconds for the ref to stop the game and my teammates where pulling me down the field. I got to the hospital, checking if my ligaments where ripped apart. Thankfully they weren't and i just had to rest for a few days and don't walk. 1 My OC Mesme Rize: >https://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/mesme-rize-r8777 Thank you Randimaxis for this Wonderful Avatar. long gone 8,929 July 13, 2015 Share July 13, 2015 In 2003 I rode my bike into my neighbor's driveway. Next thing I knew I was covered in blood and in unrelenting pain. When the blood was finally cleaned off from my body in the hospital (the first of five, actually) I had scrapes all down my arms and legs and one on my chest near my neck, a deep gash beneath my nose and an almost-entirely-free piece of flesh in my mouth. I could barely function for nearly a year after that. While the other scars are gone now, there still is one left. The one beneath my nose. Lulubelle 64 July 14, 2015 Share July 14, 2015 I was around 10-11 I think, and my mom and I were cleaning out the turtle's tank. I was reaching forward for a book off my bookshelf for some reason and fell. My leg apparently caught the corner of the tank's cover and ripped my leg open. 127 stitches later, I still have the scar. >_<

Envy 6,262 July 14, 2015 Share July 14, 2015 (edited) I fell quite a few feet on my head when I was really young on a family trip. My parents left me at a daycare one day, and that happened. Apparently I almost died or something, but I was farrrr to young to have any memory of this. A little later on I had a more minor injury, but one I do remember clearly - I broke my middle finger (coincidentally)... >.< The finger nail came off. OMG. It was awful! FoxyCryptid 4,330 July 14, 2015 Share July 14, 2015 (edited) It's toss-up between two things: The first is tripping cracking my head up across my eyebrow as a little kid, i still have a scar that splits that eyebrow apart horizontally where it presumably killed the hair in that spot. The other is not only dislocating my foot but ripping a bunch of shit loose in the process and limping around on it until it finally re-located on it's own like three weeks later. I have a huge knot on top my foot and can sit there just popping the joint endlessly. You can also feel the bone move in that spot when I do it and I sometimes freak people out by showing them that "trick". iceestarz 5,765 July 14, 2015 Share July 14, 2015 When I was in 1st grade some kid ran into me at skateworld and I fell on my arm. I just remember it hurting really bad and my friends mom taking me into the bathroom and getting me a Popsicle. The school nurse glanced at it when we got back to the school and said it was just bruised. She didn't even call my mom when I was sent back to the nurse later. Turns out my arm was broken. I spent the entire school day with a broken arm wrapped in a thin layer of gauze.

Magic Rasin 180 July 14, 2015 Share July 14, 2015 Injuries huh? Oh boy. I've... Gotten my big toe sliced by a mirror and had it stitched back with no anesthetic. Fallen down the stairs 3 times as a child. Surprisingly no notable injuries. Torn a 2-inch nickel deep hole in my leg from being knocked off a chain link fence. Left quite a scar. Had one of my dog's teeth make a small gash on my eyebrow. Had a bitty scar from that. Gotten hit by a plastic tent stake square in the forehead. Peeps call me Harry Potter whenever they see the scar. Broken my wrist via falling out of a tree. It still aches. Tripped over one of my dogs, landing head first onto ceramic tile floor. I had to get my forehead glued back. Crashed my bike countless times. The worst I've ever gotten has been really bad scrapes. Sprained my ankle jumping off my closet. It's 9 feet high and I landed on some blankets. I've been injured so many times that the sight of blood barely phases me anymore. Full stories for anyone who asks about a specific event. GeekySonic 1,150 July 14, 2015 Share July 14, 2015 I've gotten hit on the head a bunch of times. When I was a toddler, I fell off the countertop trying to steal cookies. Not long after, I was hit square in the face with a gardening hoe. Most recently, I slipped while climbing onto a stage, and slammed my head onto the edge of the stage, giving myself a concussion. Hocus Pocus 636 July 14, 2015 Share July 14, 2015 (edited) Well... I crashed my bike once, and wouldn't you know it, I crashed right where the road was torn up (The wound was almost completely black if it weren't for all the blood). And as luck would also have it also, we had just moved into a new house and we hadn't unpacked the first aid kit... nor did we have any idea where it was. It almost got infected, but we did go out to buy some wound cleaning and dressing supplies, which kept it from getting bad enough to require a hospital visit. I now have a black scar just beneath my elbow from the incident, which was about 6-ish years ago. ----------------------- 171 July 14, 2015 Share July 14, 2015 (edited) I haven't broken a bone or anything, but likely experienced something no kid my age back then should have... STORY TIME A long time ago, when I was seven or so years old, I finished watching the Clifford movie. I was a really big fan of that series, and having the mentality of a young, innocent child, I was so immersed in it. One of the characters kept saying "cool" or something quite a few times, and I quickly adapted to it and repeated the words. Not constantly, only about twice or as little as four. My older brother had a short temper that time and aggressively shoved me towards a rickety old desk that we had in the room. My mouth was targeted towards the sharp edge, and it managed to split my lip and gums. Luckily my dad had off from work that day, and we all went to the hospital. It was my first time being there, too. After waiting in the main lobby with a red stained tissue against my lip, I finally got my appointment done. Some parts of the operation were numbed while the bulk of it wasn't. I tried to be brave and only teared up a little during the whole process; seeing needles get stuck into me and about six stitches being stapled to my lips. The plus side was my reward after - ten lollipops. The doctors declared that I truly was brave for the whole process, contrary to the squealing kids next door and such. When I went to school, I wasn't permitted to participate in gym for an entire week. And then my lip slowly cured and all things were good again. So yeah, that's probably my worst injury, especially for a kid that age. Edited July 14, 2015 by zigragirl
Tinkh_ 240 July 14, 2015 Share July 14, 2015 A long time ago, the summer after sixth grade, I rode a four wheeler for the first time and ran into a tree. I split my head open, you could peel my scalp back lol. They gave me 13 staples, I have a huge, thick scar from the middle of my crown to the top if my forehead.
