So I figured I should at least post something this month! This is an image of Sunny Daze from G3 and one of my favorites. She was among the first in my collection! Also, I figured there had to be some way to commemorate the end of summer! I had a ton of fun drawing her. Lately, I'm still playing around with anatomy and went for a more "pony-like" body this time. I don't particularly like the muzzle and several other things in the anatomy, so I think I'm going to switch back go my softer muzzle style. My favorite part of this drawing is the tail. I was a bit lazy with the mane.

 

I kind of messed up on her cutie mark, but I guess it just adds character. :comeatus:

 

This piece was done in regular colored pencil, though maybe soon I'll do one with my watercolor pencils. I'm in the process of..er..."re-educating" myself with colored pencils since I haven't used them in quite a long time. I wasn't near a scanner and the lighting is kind of weird, but I did what I could to doctor it up. I wish her body shade was more apparent in this image. Ah well.

 

 

 

 

I think I want to continue drawing other G3's. ^^

@, I'm jealous of your colors.  I also love her legs and torso, an addition to the tail you've already pointed out, haha. I really like this one.

(And yeah, I think your other muzzle style comes off just a touch better, but this image is still really awesome.)
