Wind waker for the gamecube. Yes, the HD version is better, but the gamecube version has that number 1 spot purely for nostalgia. Take that away, and the HD version would be top of my list. I don't know why, but I thought the sailing in the game was one of the best things about it, there was a kick ass theme to go with the sailing and made the world feel absolutely massive. It was also the first zelda game I completed, and now I'm in love with the series

My most favorite game is Half-Life 1 because I like the setting. The destroyed labs in the desert full with aliens and soldiers who fight against each other is perfect and I really like it. And I also like the idea that there are no sequences. Thats good because I don't like this cutscenes where you can't move. Ok, Xen was not so nice, but the rest was awesome. I must say, i like it more than HL2. I don't know why, but the setting in HL1 pleases me more.

Edit: I also get some nice memories from the game.

Yoshi's Story on the N64, Paper Mario, & Pokemon Yellow

Those three games I played so much as a kid and they were the first 3 games I had ever played too.

I'd have to say Burnout 3: Takedown for Playstation 2. Not realistic in any way, but a barrel of fun. I wish they still made Burnout games of that high quality today.

Close second to Star Wars: Battlefront (the original) on Playstation 2.

Age of Empires II on PC. A complete and very addictive game.

Choosing one favourite game is really hard. I've got games that I consider my favourite for nostalgic reasons, such as Donkey Kong 64 and games that I consider my favourite because they're just awesome to play, such as Proteus.

So I'm gonna say Mirror's Edge, a mix of both nostalgia and awesomeness.

It's hard to choose between Civilization V, Skyrim and GTA V but I'll go for Civilisation V even if GTA V is the game that I've played the most.

For me, it's narrowly between Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and King's Quest VIII: The Mask of Eternity. The former edges out for its storytelling, but I'll never forget MoE for the way it captured my imagination as a child, watching my dad play it :)

Mother 3, Shigasato Itoi's third instalment in the famous Earthbound/Mother franchise. The game is know for being a Japan exclusive, but dedicated fans have made a translation patch which can be applied to a ROM of the game and played on an emulator.

Water, 35 liters. Carbon, 20 kilograms. Ammonia, 4 liters. Lime, 1.5 kilograms. Phosphorous, 800 grams. Salt, 250 grams. Saltpeter, 100 grams. Sulfur, 80 grams. Fluorine, seven-point-five. Iron, five. Silicon, three grams. And trace amounts of 15 other elements. It's all the ingredients of the average adult human body, right down to the last specks of protein in your eyelashes. And even though science has given us the entire physical breakdown, there's never been a successful attempt at bringing a human to life. There's still something missing. Something scientists haven't been able to find in centuries of research. ...and in case you're wondering, all those ingredients can be bought on a child's allowance. Humans can be made rather cheap. - Edward Elric

VVVVVV

This game is something special, it's fairly difficult, but it has GREAT replay value. I barely ever replay games, but this game is a special case: I've beat it at LEAST three times.

Or, Pikmin 3. It's my favorite in the series, and I'm kinda hooked on it at the moment.
