Will Pinkie ever become an Alicorn?

Hi. Pinkie Pie is my favourite pony, even though Twilight Sparkle is best pony. If Pinkie was to become an Alicorn, how would this happen?

That being said, I think pinkie would make a find alicorn XD If nothing else, there's the princess toys listed on Amazon, though I'm pretty sure those are just going to be a two package deal (A princess and a mane character) since I'm 100% certain that the other 5 won't become alicorns at this point. (I could see it happening in S1, S2 and S4, but at this point I think its pretty much not happening)

 

 

As for how would pinkie become one?
You could have a macguffin be introduced in S6 or the movie related to her element or some similar task. Based on the Current canon for Cadence, she became an alicorn due to a magical emotion necklace just zapping her more or less, so it seems you can become an alicorn with just alot of magic in one spot, without any real special quality of the KIND of magic. it can be other things besides the elements.

Have something similar, such as either an emotional magical structure or object that amplifies emotions (Like the spectrum crystal that turned Cadence into an alicorn), have a villain who attempts to enslave the world in despair or a dronelike mental state of dark emotions, and have pinkie pie overload said object or plan with laughter and optimism to fix it, possibly with a macguffin necklace, crown or other dress up item.

I don't think so. Twilight's the main character, so just having her change doesn't seem too off, but after that changing one more without changing the rest would seem weird, and making them all alicorns would be too much since that eliminates the different races thing they've got going on by making them all the same race.

 

Plus they've been associating becoming an alicorn to becoming worthy enough of being a princess. While Pinkie is certainly good at arranging parties and spreading happiness, I don't think she'd quite fit doing other princess duties, like organizing more formal events instead of playful ones, and she's not one to be considered a natural leader in situations that aren't parties.

Alright. But in a fanfic... would Pinkie Pie becoming an Alicorn fit in well? Or would it seem like a lame shark-jumping moment, rather than a cool, epic moment where boom, she gets wings and a horn, and rules over her own small kingdom designed to be extremely fun, like if Pinkie Pie created Eggmanland.

She could manipulate the cosmos itself. We all know Pinkie has reality defying abilities so this could be a thing. I would love to see a princess Pinkie though, even though I know it would make most of the fandom implode. Just, Pinkie's personality would be such an opposite of what many would think a princess is. I cannot say how well it would work in the show, probably not at all, but I guess one can imagine.

Well if they do give the other characters the alicorn treatment Pinkie will be the last to get it. The other characters have more focus put on them as far as I'm concerned so they're more likely to get it then Pinkie (and that's if it happens at all).

You say that, but Cadence started off as a Pegasus. And remember, all ponies, regardless of if they are an earth pony, unicorn, or or pegasus have some level of innate magic.

It would take a special accomplishment generating enough magical energy to propel Pinkie Pie into the same realm that Cadence and Twilight experienced in their ascensions.

 

However I suspect the potential to ascend may be restricted to just a few ponies to begin with, and to even realize said potential makes it even fewer and this helps explains why there are not a bunch of alicorns around.

 

However I would not rule out Pinkie Pie or any of the other Mane 5 ascending completely, even if it is unlikely.

I don't think any of the other mane six should ever become alicorns. It would ruin the series for me.

 

Twilight is the friendship of magic, the others cannot become the alicorns of anything because their elements are tied in with Twilgihts. She is the embodyment of all 5 others plus her own and there cannot be more then one princess of friendship.

 

Besides, none of the others have the personality or anything else that would go into making a good leader. For Pinkie Pie, she is too immature and hyper and lacks leadership abilities. Applejack is the opposite of a princess. Rainbow Dash would want nothing to do with it and her having a horn and magic would make her 20% less cooler. Rarity...maybe but...no..just..no.

 

Fluttershy is also a no.

 

Just no more Alicorns unless they are boys and thrown in as an evil character....or my own Original character Twilight Frost - The Princess of the Ice and Snow.

 

....I really need to get around to writting that story. Its filled in my head cannon all sorts of vile evilness, a tortured past full of the worlds most cruel and heartless ponies treating and abusing a poor lovably pony until she snaps and becomes the worst villain the mane six ever faces. All because of how cruel the bullies from her school treated her.

 

..yeah...I think I will start that sometime lol.

Nothing would change Pinkie already has shown she can keep up with RD with her bouncing and you could consider Pinkie's families' inert ability to find certain rocks  a type of magic similar to rarity's.

So this is my opinion...

 

If pinkie would become an alicorn and rule equestria, it would be like when discord made ponyville a jokeland. But pinkie would rule the whole wide world of equestria, so equestria will be a miserable jokeland and then the other states around equestria would consider equestria a joke and then they woudn't take equestria seriously!!! THAT WOULD BE A DISASTER  !! Not only for the ponies in equestria but it will make a huge negative inpact on the fandom itself!! (i think, unless someone else thinks otherwise) And welll.....

 

I won't think that would happen tho...    edit: But if it would happen, then pinkie would become a very serious pony and well... there goes the shows fun....
