I've had one or two...I had one where I was my ponysana and Discord was back to spread chaos in Equestria. I found him in my real-life neighbor's backyard (which for some reason was in Equestria), picked up a rock, and tried to throw it at him (I wouldn't do the that if it were real), but it missed. He watched it fly past his head and then sarcastically told me "Good shot." before reaching down to grab me. I backed away until I hit the corner of my neighbor's fence and I actually felt scared. My dream suddenly ended. Rather short.

Haven't yet, but considering that my last dream was of terrorists taking over the New Jersey state, I would like to dream of ponies for once.

 

 

Come to think of it. I remember hearing, not seeing, twilight saying in a past dream "With the elements of harmony.... (mumble)."

So I cant say I haven't completely.

I had a dream a LONG time ago that I was bringing Spike through a store, and I bought him a toy car lol.

 

More recently I had a dream when I was on a Discolight "high" XD I'd been looking at a lot of fanart of that ship on deviantART. Anyway so in the dream, I was at my grandpa's house. I was Twilight Sparkle and Discord was going to basically force me to marry him. But then he decided he was going to let me choose whether or not I wanted to marry him, and it was called off. We walked into this room and my REAL-LIFE mom was there and she took pictures of us, acting like she was happy about the thing. She still thought we were getting married and I was like "No, it's not that anymore!" Then it ended.

 

Those are the only actual pony dreams I've had; the only other times ponies have appeared in my dreams were brief cameos in merch. Like this one time I was shopping in this store that looked like Home Depot and I found this Pinkie toy.

Dream 1, "Twin Peaks":

I had been watching a show similar to Twin Peaks with my brother, when one of the characters confessed to being a Brony. They wore a Fluttershy t-shirt and Vinyl Scratch headphones. I told my brother that I was a Brony, too, and he just said that it was cool.

 

A lot of blurry dream gunk later, my brother and I were in a red convertible on top of a mountain from that dream show. He glared at me as if I'd done something wrong, and then he drove the convertible off of a cliff.

 

Dream 2, "Head in a Book":

I was on a second floor platform in one of my outdoor apartment building hallways. I had had a desk next to a door, which I guess was my apartment door. I was a librarian of some sort, it seemed.

 

I looked through a crack between two of the floorboards that made up the platform and saw a purple blur below me. I ran down the steps of the platform to the first floor. There was Twilight Sparkle, head in a large book.

 

I asked her to put the book down, and she began lowering it from her face. I gasped as I saw that she was faceless. It was akin to The Operator/Slender Man.

 

Dream 3, "Build-a-Pony":

This dream is split up into multiple parts. It contains graphic themes at times. You have been warned.

 

Part 1, "The Truth":

The dream started in my apartment number's hallway. I walked towards the living room and found that my brother, my mom, and my dad were sitting on the floor, couch, and recliner, respectively. They all turned their heads slowly towards me. It was very creepy.

 

In the corner of my eye, I saw a shadow of a creature flash. But as soon as he had appeared, he had vanished. It had looked suspicious like a unicorn head's silhouette.

 

I opened my mouth to ask what the hell was going on, but instead, I told my family that I was a Brony. My mom only responded with "You already told me," which is true in real life. My dad just nodded. My brother, on the other hand (or hoof; you'll see), had his mouth agape. It seems that he always represents the control over my life, the Anti-Brony in these dreams.

 

Part 2, "The Transformation":

The scene in front of me melted away, and I found myself in the hallway once again. This time, I went into the bathroom. I looked myself over in the mirror. I was covered in mud and grass. There was no doubt that I had been out in the rain and had fallen or something to that degree.

 

I could have sworn that I had seen the unicorn shadow from Part 1 flash behind me in the mirror for a second or two. This time, it was more apparent as the size of the pony was as big as me.

 

My hand began to feel very sore. I glanced at it for a second. It was a hoof. I looked at my other hand and my feet and found that they had turned into hooves, too. I wanted to scream so much. I was being transformed into a pony.

 

But I couldn't scream. All that I heard was a neigh being emitted from my muzzle. Yes, a muzzle. It was a regular Five Score spin-off. I kept trying to scream, but I just couldn't. I just stood there, at the end of my rope.

 

Part 3, "Mall":

This second scene had melted away by now, and I was once again in the hallway. This time, I saw that the front door was open. I ran through it. My family was leaving without me!

I caught up to them as they got in the car. We drove to the local shopping mall. I had had no idea what this was about. We never would go there, as it's too expensive.

 

We went into a... Build-a-Bear. Yes, folks, a Build-a-Bear. There is no BaB at the local shopping mall. However, I had been watching Cartoon Network for hours on end before the dream, so that might have had something to do with it. My parents paid for a Twilight Sparkle plushie (I have no fucking idea now. that's not BaB), and we began walking to the car when I saw the shadow in the driver's seat.

 

I asked my mother if she saw it. She told me she saw it. So did my father. But then, I asked my brother. He shook his head. He told me that it was all just another stupid illusion my mind had created to fulfill my needs. The scene began to melt away. As I woke up, a sound kept ringing through my ears.

 

It was the sound of my brother laughing.

So, yeah, those are my dreams. Geez, that third one sounds like a creepypasta.

The only pony related dream I've ever had was that I was in a warehouse of someting, and being chased by someone in a rainbowdash fur suit, and eventually brutally murdered....

You know how you have those weird dreams that keep bugging you and you just want to talk about it?  Well this is one of them and I don't have any bronies that I know of around here so here goes...

 

I tend towards action-y, hero fighting baddy type dreams.  A while back I had a dream in which the mane 6 had gotten ahold of some semi-sentient technology that provided them some superpowers.  Since Twilight's power seemed to be omnipotence, the problems they were dealing with (forget exactly what) were almost immediately resolved.

 

Twilight then realized with her reality-alering mega powers, not only could she fix any problem she could fix any problem before it came to pass.  And all she had to do is alter the wills, desires, and personality of everypony.  The others thought that this was a few steps too far, Twilight took up the position that they should just do it now and change everypony back after they're done arguing the pros and cons of altering free will.  A change this big needs time for Twilight to concentrate and the other mane 6 ponies try to stop her.

 

This leads to a chase.  Twilight decides that if she's going to do this, she'll need to teleport far away first to get the time.  She does but one of the powers of the other ponies (Rarity) was the ability to alter size.  During the chase she thought that might happen and shrunk herself down small enough that she could jump into Twilight's coat unnoticed.  Twilight teleports away to a cave on the far side of the world.

 

Twilight steps away from the machine that powered her up for a moment (since she thinks she finally has a moment to breathe) and while she is looking away Rarity returns to normal size and sends the device away.  Twilight's power takes a huge hit immediately and is draining fast.  Rarity needs to keep Twilight busy long enough.to get 'normal' Twilight back and realize what she is doing.  In other words, the world is in Rarity's hooves in a magic duel with Twilight.

Well for one Im surprised you managed to remember most of it, many people arent able to do that. As your your question no, its completely normal to have MLP dreams, or any kind of dreams for that matter. As one who is practicing lucid dreaming you can get a similar dream again if you just know how to take the right steps (its a bit much to explain  ) if you wanted to. The dream itself seems interesting, it seems to be some kind of plot you would see in a fan fiction and the thing about Rarity changing her size is interesting as she never has had that power before. You may want to consider making this a story of some kind, thats just my thoughts.

I usually have adorable MLP dreams. I once had one where Twilight had a Twilight plushie in her mouth, and was shaking it around like a dog would, and I was worried she'd ruin the thing. She was upset because no one asked her for permission to make a plushie of herself

 

I would pay to have that dream every single night.

I tend to be barely sleeping while asleep and as a result can often remember a lot of it.  If it has action element it tends to be even more likely.  I can remember at least 3 or 4 dreams fairly well in which I was in the DC comics universe.

Secondly — this dream sounds awesome! I also agree with @Princess-Sunbutt, you should take this dream and turn it into a story — it has potential to be epic

That's an awesome dream. I usually use dreams that I remember and enjoy and channel them creatively. I mine them as a source of creative inspiration as much as I mine shows like MLP for creative guidance. I extract elements like character and location designs and adapt them into my work. Spielberg and Lucas were even interested in a future technology which could aid us in channeling dream experiences into real sources of entertainment.

 

From experience, I'm definitely going to jump on @Smokie-Horse and @Princess-Sunbutt's bandwagon here and say that you really should channel it creatively, like into a comic or a fanfiction. It would be well worth it.

I haven't had many dreams with ponies but I had a couple.  The last one I remember I had didn't have anything going on really, it was me hugging Twilight for a really really long time and all the other ponies were in the back watching and smiling.  It was a weird dream but I liked it

A farly common thing for me that I wake up and think that what I drempt could have been an episode, movie, or comic book issue.  Best one was probably a young Batman.  Joker caught me and had me and there was literally no escape.  So I got my hands free and used some lightning-quick motion and pressure point knowledge to force The Joker to shoot me in a spot where 'I will die if I dont get treatment soon'.  I had calculated that he wanted to beat me straight up and I gave him the options of letting me go and get my wound treated or accept a tainted victory.

I once had a dream of ponies, more specifically the mane 6.

I couldn't hear anymore, but that was most definitely from MLP. I didn't find it strange.

Good god man! That's one hell of a dream.

 

I don't think it's weird to have dreams about MLP. I've had at least two dreams that were MLP related.

 

The first dream I had involved Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy holding a conversation in my kitchen. I couldn't hear anything they were saying though.

 

My second dream, I was standing in a meadow and color was absent. There were black silhouettes of ponies running all around me. The only pony I could identify was Octavia, and every time she passed me her tail would hit me in the face.
