Spike interacting with other ponies/creatures

We all now that Spike has a close band with Twilight Sparkle and a crush on Rarity, but what about him interacting more with the others?

I once said that Spike needs to meet another dragon, perhaps a female, that's close to his own age or a few years older.  This would help him to break away from his childlike dependence on Twilight and his doomed infatuation with Rarity.  

 

I also like the idea of befriending a female filly who was raised by a dragon.  It would be a good idea for the same reasons stated above, but also create a cool contrast to him being a dragon who was raised by a pony.

Any of these! Biggest problem with Spike is that he barely interacts with any characters outside of Twilight and Rarity and even then his interactions with them is limited

Judging by the picture it would add more comedy to the series .

It´s true that the interactions with others are limited. But he had some in the early seasons. With some interactions with Applejack I thought she was his best friend in the group (or even a hidden crush).

If more interaction with the others would happen it would be done by the fans.

I think he really needs to interact with Fluttershy a lot more in the series.

In the first episode she was really interested in Spike, but after that never really had meaningful interactions with him sense then.

But I would also like to see him interact with other creatures as well.  Maybe even the return of Scorpan.

Spike definately needs interactions with characters other than Twilight, that is why he almost seems like a pet since he only is around her.

 

Episode with Discord I think. Discord is a fun character to pair characters with always but he might also know more about dragons than most ponies.
