The Mysterious Mare Do-Well: A Batfan's MLP Dream Come True

OMG, just watched 'The Mysterious Mare Do-Well' episode for the first time (I'm a recent brony convert, and am making my way through Season 2 still), and I gotta say, being a HUGE Batfan as well, this episode was such a wonderful send-up to Batman as well on the producers part!!!

 

There were sooo many different Batman references, but for me, the most blatant was when the ponies held the "Thank you parade" for Mare Do-Well; during that scene, you can see signs held up by the ponies for Mare Do-Well, which, for any Batfan, are obviously ponified versions of the Batman: The Animated Series logo from the 90s!!! There was a Spider-Man reference as well.

I'm not a huge superhero fan, so I wouldn't doubt that there are a couple other references in there too.

I thought the episode was filled more with Spiderman references than Batman, but its pretty cool they added the sign in. (I never actually caught that sign watching the episode for some reason...)

The Pinkie Sense might be a reference to the spider sense.

Also, call me silly if you want, but Mare-Do-Well being in more places at once, but then revealed to be several ponies reminds me of Scooby-Doo.

Good catch man, yeah, now that you mention it, I remember that as well; that along with the Pinkie Sense (which I know had already been established, but just worked so well as a reference) were clear Spiderman references.

Some of the quotes were probably more inclined to be Spiderman references, but the whole costume design and superhero style of the Mysterious Mare Do-Well screamed Batman (to me at least ).
