What reason does he have to be in such a state? Tsk, his lack of understanding for basic interaction and the complications that come with the effects of a prolonged addiction is astounding. At least he back off, but that could have been handled with more, grace. Best to keep an eye on thing from now on.'

 

And yet you still found a way to take your shots. Everyone hates Lightning. Nobody cares about him, and Mr. Philosopher Smarty-Pants is all critical of him too. I don't think I can take much more of this.

@@Mario3D13, Actually I have rather good people skills. And you brought all this hate to Lightning yourself, you tried to do the right thing and failed in spectacular fashion. Your heart was in the right place but the execution was terrible

If Scarlett and Lightning ever had an argument, Scarlett would win.

 

Not always because she was right, but because it would go on so long Lightning would die and Scarlett would still be standing there ranting.

"Yea, we need to do that!" I said before going to stand directly in front the window. I jumped up and leant on the railing, looking at the star we were flying through. To do this yet not feel anything of heat or gravitational forces, it's astounding. How did they do it?!

 

Complex explanations: creating an energy shield that not only protects the ship, but also keeps external conditions out.

Think. If the shields are being powered by the same type and amount of energy that are trying to get past them, the equal forces keep the shield stable.

 

Basic science. Energy conservation.

Since the shields are powered by the same source of energy as the rest of the ship and with being in such close contact with a star, the excess amount of energy present around them has to be diverted away from storage or powering the ship, so they are diverted to over charging the shields to withstand the heat? That's actually a very genius design, even when said in Layman's terms.

I know right. And it actually makes scientific sense.

 

The problem with Stargate is that everything tends to make a little too much sense.
