An Episode focussed on Princess Luna and Fluttershy

I believe there should be an episode some time in the future focussed on the relationship between Fluttershy and Princess Luna. These ponies have had very little interaction, and they both share a common trait in the basic way of social anxiety. What are your thoughts? Should they make an episode like this? If so, what sort of themes would it display, what events would occur, etc. Perhaps Fluttershy could have a nightmare in which Luna presents herself, who knows.

My two favorite ponies sharing an episode? Yes please! I'd love to see just more of luna in general. As for the social anxiety thing? Yeah, I can relate to that...maybe that's why I like them so much? Who knows, I love this idea!

Luna and Fluttershy don't actually have anything in common outside of Fanon. And Luna's Social problems are of an ENTIRELY different sort from Fluttershy. Luna isn't even particularly shy at all from what we've seen, she's just awkward for a bunch of reasons. 

 

Really I think just about every other mane 6 would be more interesting to pair with Luna than Fluttershy.

I think an episode with those two would be wonderful, but creating a situation that would place them together. Would be challenging.

They have much more in common than social anxiety. Both Lulu and Flutters have the ability to understand and talk to animals. They both dislike being in the spotlight. They both get loud and lose their temper when things don't go their way (Luna eclipsed and Best Night ever)

I've always wanted an episode with both of them. Both are socially awkward in different ways. Fluttershy could finally be less afraid of Luna.

You do bring up a fair point. Perhaps we could instead have another Mane 6 character in a more "prominent" role with Luna, with Fluttershy providing some sort of secondary support. However beyond the whole anxiety thing, I still think it would he a good idea for Fluttershy and Luna to interact in Fluttershy's nightmares. The interaction between the CMC and Luna was awesome, and I think we should even extend this to some other members of the Mane 6. Although I think we can all agree that we should not show too much of Luna, as it would sort of tarnish the mysterious nature associated with her.

Maybe NOW she might like it less out of shame and guilt, feeling she doesn't deserve the praise and stuff. but that's a completely different feeling to social anexity.

This is one of the reasons I found Does Princesses Dream of Magical Sheep contradictory to Luna's personality. She is expecting her subjects to bow down to her not feel bad that she was being mean.
