Considering how crap Sonic has become, I don't think they're in a position to criticize.

I personally don't think it's funny at all. I don't see how just claiming that a character is faster than another character is a joke.

 

And perhaps the Sonic team shouldn't be the ones who makes fun of bad choices.

If they used the effort that they used to sass people on Twitter on quality controlling their games and admitting that their poor sales are from low quality products they may be onto something.

Yes, I know. '06 was a fail, and so was RoL. But I can't stand how people compare MLP to Sonic unfairly. It takes a sh*t ton of time to make a video game, a good one no less, than it does to make an episode. Yes, Sonic games aren't perfect, but that's no reason to capitalize on them.

 

Sonic has had maybe three or four god-awful (RoL, '06, Secret Rings, and Black Knight) games, and people call him the worst thing to happen to gaming since E.T. And when there are crappy episodes (Boast Busters, Bridle Gossip, Mare Do Well, Crystal Empire, Games Ponies Play, Griffon the Brush Off, Look Before You Sleep, the list goes on and on) people are like "oh, well, it's a kid's cartoon".

 

I'm not hating on the show. And I'm not hating on Sonic. I just don't like the people who compare the two unevenly, because they're different forms of entertainment.

To be fair though even the "crap" episodes (which that is all opinion) get decent reviews from people and have enough basic functionality story wise to be enjoyed, whereas Sonic 06 is so broken that it's virtually unplayable.

Yeah, I'm with everyone else here. Even the weakest episodes(including MMDW, my least favorite episode), even some of the comics I'd gladly take over Sonic '06, Boom(the game, the cartoon is ace), Shadow the Hedgehog, Black Knight, etc.

 

Don't know if I'd take the Rainbow Dash Micro, FF1, 19 or some of the main series stuff like The Good, The Bad, The Ponies, or the Ponyville Days comics over them though

Other than SA2, my favorites are Endless Possibilities, Reach for the Stars, Never Turn Back, I am All of Me, and Open Your Heart. As for MLP, there's only two songs from the OST that I could stand to listen to: Babs Seed and The Magic Inside.

 

Although a couple of the songs from the Crusaders of the Lost Mark episode weren't that bad...

I think they're getting ahead of themselves is because of Sonic's 25th Anniversary and there might be a new game for PS4/Xbox One/Wii U. It might actually be good like how Generations and Colors were.
