Would you consider the Earth Ponies the most human like?

Would you consider the Earth Ponies the most human like? Apart from super strength and great at growing food (we humans are good at growing food), they seem to be the most human in terms of ability to the other ponies. They can't fly or use fancy magic.

 

Earth ponies are possibly a lot more invested in creating technology. Surely, not all of them are farmers and don't ever explore outside that field.

I've never really thought of that before... But now that you mention it, yeah, simply the fact that they can't fly or use magic makes them the most relatable race to humans in the show, I believe. Even though we don't really have any unicorn/pegasus equivalent to compare ourselves to in our world.

Unicorns are most human like, because they have more of humanity's trappings (Rarity eats with a fork, etc.) and use magic like we would hands. I know that's a stretch, but that's how I always view it.

Yeah they are. I can't think of anyone that works on changing the weather or using magic. Maybe in the line of science some can be like an unicorn but still a far cry from each other. Unicorns maybe closer to the old world humans but Earth Ponies are more like modern day humans. Pegasus have almost no relation.
