Then there is the follow-up videos with the most outraged and over the top comments or threats (I Hate Everything follows this pattern) and Repzion just did with the Furry video, which makes these communities seem even worse-as the negative points made in these videos seem vindicated in the eyes of the public, plus it leads to more views and subscribers because people like drama.

Which is exactly why I don't engage with people like him because why give them anymore ammunition? You simply can't have a productive conversation with someone who is immediately willing to stereotype you with evidence that is circumstantial at best and play the guilt by association game.

Repzion is a moron, so I don't give two shits about what he has to say. He is the same moron that constantly has to rely on sex jokes in his videos now because he wants 'the views'. That and he want his viewers to pay for certain things with his patreon. I was subscribed to him for a while, but I saw a HUGE drop in quality in his videos and now he comes off as a complete jackass to me. These videos just further that point. He is a hypocrite and to me, he is an idiot.

I personally think that everyone has a right to their own opinion  I may not necessarily agree on it but I'm not going to rage because someone doesn't like a fandom I am in.

I have plenty of experience being in a few disliked fandoms across the music scene  not just television or entertainment. best thing to do is just let it be the more people slander someone else because something as harmless as an opinion the more backlash it will create then it will just get out of hand

Just no, gonna stay subbed to Repzion because I do enjoy his videos, but this is rather counter to his usual MO. Rather disappointing, though the comment section is still worse than the video lol. Though in my honest opinion I think Repzion has just had either a bad experience with bronies(In which case it is anecdotal evidence and generalizing all bronies) or is using this to gain more subscriber/views(I mean hell, putting this up just gets instant anti-brony subs). Just my two cents though.

He definitely cherry picked the most cringe worthy videos to comment on, this is full on clickbait.

 

This is all to typical for me to take seriously anymore. Don't watch the actual show and judge the fandom, don't watch the fandoms great works like Lullaby For a Princess or Children Of The Night and judge the fandom. No, watch the shit videos made by the very niche over-obsessive part the fandom and judge a fanbase of over 10,000,000 people based on those videos alone. At least I Hate Everything watched the first episode of the show before decideing he still disliked it, which I can respect. There is also ADoseOfBuckly who watched Games Ponies Play and didn't like it, honestly he could have picked a better episode to watch, but my point is at least they gave the fandom a fair shot by sampling the actual show.

 

People who sample a fandom based on the worst content it's fans can produce is basically asking for disappointment form the fandom you are focusing on. I feel that the fair way to decide whither you respect a fandom or not is look at the best it's fans can produce, or in the case of shows, the centerpiece of the fandom being the actual show. To me it's almost as if these people are afraid, they are afraid that they may actually find something they like if they sample the best of a fandom so they keep themselves in denial and only focus on the worst until they convince themselves that this is the way the fandom really is at it's core.

 

I don't care that this guy doesn't like MLP but I will say he has not given the fandom a chance to impress him because he only sampled the worst of the worst. This would have been way better if this video was just him reacting to these videos without being judgmental of the fanbase, like what Leafyishere did when he reacted to that pony dating sim advertisement.

 

Leave this person be and just let him keep the wool down over his eyes is my solution to this.

I agree with Rep, his points are very well done. The fandom has alot if issues that need to be adressed. Furthermore, like some have said, Anti-bronies provide alot of good info to help the community grow as they point out the flaws of the brony community and open discussions.

God I hate youtubers like Leafyishere. All his videos are unfunny and the way he talks reminds of one of those kids who tries to be edgy by being a douche.

A little update from those videos alone within a week, the Rezion lost about 500-800 subs, but gained some as well. Most of his subs lost though were in the last day over 400 subs which show how much of an impact this cane have.

   First the furries than the bronies, I wonder who else is next for Mr Repzion to slander. It seems to me that he has gotten more surly lately, with each passing video Repzion has been shouting and raving about any topic, ironic, since he seemed to approve of the fandom after the young brony nearly committed suicide, only to suddenly rant about the worst fringes of our fandom, Now, we do have creeps and jerks in the community, lets be honest, and yes we are weird, but rather than giving into the verbal lashing, we have largely harnessed our efforts to come together and do things beyond pony related subjects, from video games to charity, so Mr. Repzion can think of us as he will, but he will not hurt the fandom, with a few examples of extreme behaviour, besides Mr Repzion has conflicted his own rhetoric many times, so listening to him nowadays always leaves you with a question mark.
