And their designs are just divine! That could be interesting. Maybe Pinkie breaks out the old 'gotta share, gotta care'...or maybe not. I sort of considered Unicorns vaguely elf-like, especially before the 3 tribes united. Since forests are governed by nature outside Equestria it would only be natural for them to be quite alien to ponies in philosophy, magic, and form. Deer can still represent elves: a link between civilization and the untamed unknown, however, they should hold no power over it nor should they serve as protectors of its secrets.
