New Project- Fidgety

So, I just started work on a new storybook/animation. I'm kinda new to all this so be gentle, but tell me what you think:

I tried to do my own style mixed with that of the shows (Because who couldn't love that animation). I did want my own, personal touch to it (I'm a pencil-sketch artist that rarely ever draws lines or anything, so this style is really new to me)

It's not a turd or anything... By that I mean it's not the worst I've ever seen, but it's clear that you're new to this.

 

I think you need to get some practice in before you commit to a big project. Go small until you build confidence in what you do or you'll burn out and not get the desired response that I'm sure you're looking for.

 

I don't know anything about digital work, so I don't have anything in the way of tips, but all I can say is: Start small, move up to big projects, and even then, collaborate with others on your first few big ideas to really get started.
