And then the new ones.

In first one all 3 ponies are same pony and it's my OC.

It represents some kind of "3 sides" type of thing and/or hiding true personality behind mask....or something.

I just randomly got idea when I was watching random JSE-Fanart speedpaint video.

I drew these three one after another this morning.

Feel free to give critique.

Edit-

For those who care about how I make my "art"

1. I draw it on paper from nothing using only pen and eraser.

2. I take picture

3. I draw lines over the drawing on computer (using GIMP)

4. On computer I color it and add/edit things that I couldn't draw or forgot to draw on paper.(GIMP)

Great Job! Your OC's are quite interesting, I especially like the one with the robotic arm. :P

Hope to see more from you in the future!

I can see your art getting better with each drawing!

As for some constructive critism, I think your pony's backsides could be a little rounder to slope into the hind legs.

New Drawing!

I drew this fast so shape isn't best possible but I drew this so I can test what gimp has to offer and what can I do with it.

Inspired by Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood-anime and ponies used are

My OC (that is inspired by the anime too) and white thingy-pony is kinda ponified "character" from the anime.

Also I messed up the facial expression with my OC. xD

And I forgot to draw tail to him. XD

New Drawing....again!

Even that I don't really like Undertale, I like the art made of it. That inspired part of this drawing.(you probably can guess what part)

Second part (My OC and what he is doing) is inspired from Fullmetal Alchemist (again).

  • 4 weeks later...

Hey, I do a very similar process to you and was hoping I could give a bit of advice. One thing I've found is that the angle from which you take the picture can drastically change the way the original sketch looks, which means you should try taking the pictures as close to head-on as possible. Another thing you could do is add shading by goong over areas you would like shaded with black, and then using a gausian blur to smooth it out. Then from there you can turn down the opacity to make it more shadow-like and less solid.

I hope this helps in some way.
