I eat meat, especially chicken and bacon! Those are my favorites!

Pretty sure bacon is a meme at this point. :orly:

I love meat, though I only eat chicken and fish. I also have pork but only in pasta or in the form of sausages. Yes, I am a picky eater.

I eat meat, but only in small quantities. Except fish, which I eat a lot of.

Yes, though the residue left over by some pork months ago that still dares linger in spots I haven't caught yet is making me rethink my consumption every day lol

I would like to cut down on meat and dairy and just keep it to more ethical purchases when I do buy them (not only do I hate industrial farming but the supermarket meat tastes like ass to boot so what even is the point) but I gotta learn more vegetarian recipes too, my only issue is figuring out vegetarian/vegan dishes that are filling and make big portions as I didn't get dietary needs met very well growing up and like the energy from having well balanced meals.

Love my Beef and Chicken, not really a fan of Lamb though, obviously it's a good thing for those that love sheep to where they wouldn't want them slaughtered.

I absolutely hate Seafood though, bloody disgusting!

No, we do not need meat to survive, since all the nutrition we need exists in edible plants and fungi. Even with the vitamin B12 thing, that can be synthesized by microbes. Marmite may not taste good but it pretty much guarantees you supplement B12 what you don't get from fortified meals. If you're allergic to one type of food like peanuts, substitute it, protein including all of the required amino acids is abundant in plant based foods if you know what to look for, humans synthesize taurine, so that is a non issue, we are not cats.

On an unrelated note, I'm surprised that Ponies in My Little Pony Friendship is Magic eat meat at all, since real life horses are herbivores. While it is understandable why Hasbro did not want MLP characters to have what most of us would consider a boring lifestyle, there are plenty of edible plant based foods out there.

Quite frankly I find it lazy to have Ponies copy and paste the lifestyle of humans, instead of showing people a better way of doing things that is more ethical, and I don't mean by eating grass or other inedible plants that would either destroy our teeth or poison us.

That is pretty much the reason why I stopped eating meat and dairy many years back. Industrial farming of animals rubbed me the wrong way, and I knew something was wrong with it, and I know some friends who felt the same way who also stopped eating meat and dairy for the same reason. I'm not trying to make people feel guilty about this, I am mentioning something from our perspective.

I never understood why Hasbro felt the need to depict this in My Little Pony Friendship is Magic either, it is one glaring flaw with the show I can pick out in an otherwise entertaining story.

If Applejack makes a living off of farming apples, why does she need to keep an animal ranch? does not make sense to me. Not only that but it beggars belief that she would have the time to do all that when she struggled to farm apples by herself in Applebuck Season episode. Don't get me wrong here, it was a good episode, I actually found it funny regardless of the fact that there were mishaps in it like Applejack accidentally making Pinkie Pie and other Ponies sick from food poisoning. However, I cannot overlook one issue with the show that reflects something dark about our world.
