movies/tv Unintended MLP references/terminology on TV, etc.

How do you feel as a brony when you hear familiar terms or phrases that can be taken out of context to be references to MLP on commercials, speeches, etc.?

 

For instance, on UPS or FedEx commercials, being postal services, they usually talk about things such as "free shipping" that immediately gets my attention.

 

I don't know, does anyone have any other experiences like this?

It doesn't really happen very often... free shipping is a very broad, standard term. Only if they said brohoof or everypony, and they wouldn't.

1.When someone says the word ''Shipping

2.When the girls at my school talked about how awesome The Twilight Saga is

3.When people say ''DURRRP'' it reminds me instantly of Derpy

Well, whenever I'm playing Halo or something and I see that someone's service tag says Derp, I always think that they are a brony. Most of the time I am not as lucky as thought. ;_;

I mean, when the term is used in, like say, a UPS commercial postal purposes, it just gets my attention, being a brony and all.

Here a few items named after the historic Pegasus in a few Nintendo games....

 

For instance, in Zelda there are the Pegasus Boots (boots that make you go very VERY fast....I didn't think Pegasi were known for aging fast, but one that I know is. ), and the Wings of Pegasus or something from Kid Icarus.

Good gosh, I remember watching that movie couple years ago (before I watched ponies), and that scene cracked me up.

 

Well, now when I watch it, it makes me cracks up even more. XD

"Shrek The Third" came out in 2007. "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" came along in 2011. The dialog is real. Shrek didn't want to admit he saw a baby carriage in the fire, so he came up with something he thought sounded mystical. This doesn't even count as a concordance because the movie is 4 YBP (years before Ponies). I still have some folders and stuff with generic rainbow ponies on them. Rainbow Dash is the best Rainbow pony, but she isn't the only one!
