OK SO

I really like MLP I really do

buttttttttt (hehe)

Idk how I feel about her turning into an Alicorn princess, y'know?  I think that she should have stayed as a unicorn.

But that's just me, what do you ponies think? :o

I enjoyed her Alicornisation, I thought it was a logical transition for her that fits in MLP rather well.

There's my two bits, Lol.

I actually quite like her transformation. Magical Mystery Cure did a great job of selling me on the concept.

Also, fun fact, in 4 episodes, she will have been an Alicorn longer than she was a unicorn (in terms of the amount of episodes she appeared as a unicorn or alicorn, anyway).

Was meh at the start but they put real progression and her character has expanded alot since she became a princess. There is clear growth and accumulation of responsibilities that makes it seem both natural and well done. I really like it.

What about her being an Alicorn has changed her besides having wings now? It's been like over 3 years since this happened and yet people are still upset about it, it's clearly not going back and there's little point complaining about it now, 3 years later.

I think after 3 and a half years, we pretty much accepted it and the once who didn't, mostly left the fandom.

I think if you haven't accepted it till this day and hate the show for it, i wonder why you would watch the show.

I for one never had a problem with it. Infact, i kinda saw it coming to be honest. When it was announced, i just shrugged.

To be honest I was perfectly fine with it ever sense it was announced.

Magical Mystery Cure is one of my all time favorite episodes as well.

Looking back through hindsight with things such as Twilight's element of magic being a tiara, being one of the strongest unicorns sense Starswirl the Bearded, being mentored by Princess Celestia for a lot of her life, and Lauren Faust's intention for Twilight to become Celestia's successor, having her become a princess makes perfect sense for her character.

I didn't mind her becoming an alicorn at all because it felt only natural for some reason and the episode was really good in my opinion. Also wings can make anything look cooler.

I thought that it was a great way to show her progression as a character and show visually how much she's learned and grown as a character, as well as her experience with the way that things work and how to solve her problems. Responsibility plays a large part in it as well.

I honestly don't care that Twilight is now a Alicorn, and is the Princess of Friendship. You see, Bronies and Pegasisters on YouTube and Here, have speculated that Celestia can see into the Future. I agree with this, so maybe Celestia foresaw this and knew about this. Plus, I think Twilight will teach other ponies about Friendship (E.I. Like how she is teaching Starlight now) but will still learn about Friendship in the process.

I know for sure that I'll always hate Twilight in season 4. Her first season post-ascension will always be "The season where we constantly hit you over the head with how remarkably perfect and amazing Twilight is now that she's an alicorn" to me.

She's since become a bit more likable to me, but I still think I'll always prefer her as a unicorn. Her princess status is simply a constant reminder that she's significantly more important than her friends, and even if this show goes on for ten or more seasons, they'll never receive anything that comes even remotely close to matching what she's received.

I can't stand her, she's put on a pedestal far above all the ponies like her. She was born with royal connections, given super special treatment, opportunites that most would never have, and handed friendship and happiness on a silver platter. I don't root for this character to win, because she already has.

Twilight in reality is close to being a psychotic. She's demonstrated lack of empathy, makes idiotic decisions, breaks down under stress, and is handed a position of power that is completely unneeded. This leads me to believe that she never needed to be a princess at all. What does that have to do with spreading the joy of friendship? What about her friends that also played a major role, Twilight would have failed without them and vise versa, they are all meant to be a piece of a whole. Why don't they get treated the same? Twilight goes from being super special, to even more special-er. Why not give her friends a chance to do amazing things, is it not in their "destiny"?

  • 2 weeks later...

Its okay with me. Her alicorn ness just makes her more powerful and able to fly, so for me it isn't a really big deal
