We also need the herbs that grow from the marshland, we can't afford to go into Thunderclan and take what we need, or live from the moors, there just isn't sufficient growth there. We get most of our medical herbs in that patch of unclaimed territory, and that also means that kittypet and loners consider it theres as well. One clan should claim it, and we need it the most." she remarked.

 

"anyway i'm doubtful that riverclan will have any objections, they won't fight for territory that they don't use. That's just mouse brained." she finished.

Thunderclan terretorie

 

Willowpaw nodded at the instructions of her mentor and lowered herself back into hunting posision. her tail was flicking and she was listening closely if she heard something. on the right she heard tiny paws walking under the leaves. She jumped and killed the mouse with her claw. when she saw she had caughed it she started purring happily "Did you see that? I got it!" she said to her mentor. "What are we going to do with it?"

Thunderclan camp

 

Moonshine used the needle and stung the bird. "Sorry birdy." she whipsered and then looked up to kitestar and nodded confirming. then she turned her head to see darkfur walking out of her den. she quickly jumped towards him "who said you could go to the gathering? look at you, you can barely walk. I'm not so sure if I can let you go. Before we leave I'll examine you and then I'll decide if you're good enough to go. now back to my den and rest." She said to the warrior. again, she was talking to him like he was a kit while he was actually a warrior and not to forget, older as her. she hoped that hadn't angered him "Sorry, it's for your own good." She apologised.

ThunderClan Camp

 

Owlheart sat in the clearing, his amber eyes fixed on Moonshine's den as she tried this 'cure' out on the prey. He wasn't expecting it to work, but it was the rogue he doubted, not the medicine cat.

 

He waited for Kitestar's order to move out, waiting to move on to the Gathering.

 

RiverClan Territory

 

Jinx kept creeping along the river, keeping on the side opposite of the rocky area where the lake cats said their 'camp' was. As much as she'd like to see if it was like one of those 'campsites' her owners would take her to - as much as they'd keep her from going outside - she doubted the lake cats would exactly welcome her.

 

Besides, there was a good view of the island from the river, and a limitless supply of fish for if she needed one.

@@P-Jay @@Ruby Splash Featherfur nodded in agreement, almost disappointed to hear that Riverclan likely wouldn't object; he hadn't had a good fight in a while, he recalled. He went to the edge of the clearing, calling Lavenderpaw over to prepare for the gathering. "You have to try and remain quite calm," he told her. Then he growled, "And don't get into any fights. I know what you're like."

Lavenderpaw rolled her bright eyes, in which excitement was evident, then hopped a little from paw to paw awaiting Silverstar's order to leave the camp and attend the gathering.

"Of course!" Kitestar exclaimed. "I had very nearly forgotten. How idiotic of me." She glanced nervously at the ground, hoping she wasn't especially late to head out. Watching as the poor bird squirmed under the medicine cat's paw, she glanced over at the vial containing the cure. "Moonshine..." she began, "I shall have to leave you here with this bird, I am afraid. I'll tell the other warriors to keep an eye on that rogue... I'm sorry, I must go." Nodding solemnly, Kitestar then turned to Darkfur and looked him up and and down. "Is he fit to go to the gathering, Moonshine?" she quizzed.

 

Riverclan camp, night

@@Unicorncob Moontail roamed the camp, waiting for the leader's summoning to attend the gathering. When she heard the order, she padded out of camp after her clanmates and paced towards the island.

 

Shadowclan camp, night

@@Pripyat Pony Twigblaze raised her head to gaze at the bright, shining, full moon above. The sky was blanketed with twinkling stars; silverpelt. Turning to her fellow warriors, she awaited the appearance of Midnightstar to head out to the gathering.

moonshine looked at the sky and agreed with the elder, it was indeed time to go to the gathering. she quickly examined darkfur "I think you can go, but be carefull and if any of the wounds start bleeding agian come back inmediately." She said to him. then she jumped back to her den and came back with some lamb's ear "Eat those, it will give you more energy and make you stronger." she said to  darkfur.

SilverStar walked out from her den, she waited under the leaders rock before calling out. "All going to the gathering please come to the leaders rock". She then waited for the apprentices,warriors,queens,elders and medicine cats to assemble. She got up and groomed herself while she waited. This would be a interesting gathering. She glanced around the camp, her patrol to remark the border would soon leave after her, hopefully the clans would agree, if not then she would have to sort some sort of agreement out.

 

She finished grooming herself and stood up giving her pelt a shake. She was about to make her clan stronger from this border decision, though it might not go smoothly at first.

@@P-Jay @@Ruby Splash Featherfur sat under the leader's rock and looked at Silverstar as she awaited the gathering of the other cats accompanying her. Lavenderpaw still bounced excitedly, chattering incomprehensible nonsense. Featherfur spotted his friend, Berrypelt, approaching, and smiled as she sat down next to him and waited for their leader to take the party to the clan gathering.

Moontail roamed the camp, waiting for the leader's summoning to attend the gathering. When she heard the order, she padded out of camp after her clanmates and paced towards the island.

 

Jinx came to a stop along the river, with a bush nearby. She had a good view of the island from here, but not within earshot.

 

She purred as she eyed up the bush. A perfect place to hide for when those silly lake cats showed up for their 'Gathering'.

"Brilliant," Kitestar remarked as she heard that Darkfur could attend the gathering. "I apologise for leaving you here, Moonshine. I hope all goes well with the cure. If it turns out not to work, then order the remaining Warriors to chase that rogue off of our territory, and show little mercy." Owlheart's ears pricked up to attention as he saw Kitestar emerge from the medicine den and bound up to the highrock.

 

Hearing the call for a Clan meeting, he returned to his favourite shade near the end of the clearing, remaining close enough so he could hear Kitestar's announcement. His amber eyes seemed to nearly glow in the dark.

SilverStar glanced at her assembled cats, she slowly and silently raced towards the Gathering, she passed though the Windclan territory before traveling though the horseplace, which was thankfully quiet. She then kept towards the lake. She finally reached the tree bridge that had been there for moons upon moon, though it was caused by strife within Windclan at the time. It was also made possible though by Windclan, so it was very lucky to Windclan.

 

She leaps onto the tree and slowly made her way across to the gathering, she was the first to arrive, she waited in the middle wanting to mingle with the RiverClan cats first before starting the gathering. If she could talk to the Riverclan leader she could probably sort some agreement out with increasing her territory. She watched the crossing waiting for the other clans to arrive.

Darkfur took his spot under the highrock hearing his name be called out.

He calmly licked his fur, matted from the attack.

After all the medicine Moonshine had given him made his body almost numb, but it was a lot better than it hurting like craaazy.

Gathering

@@Ruby Splash @@P-Jay Featherfur bounded after Silverstar, running through Windclan territory and along the side of the lake through Riverclan's to get to the island. He balanced carefully across the fallen tree which lay across the water separating the gathering place from the mainland and then followed the rest of the Windclan cats who had come with their leader into the clearing.

 

Gathering

Moontail had sighted the last of the Windclan cats as they made their way to the gathering before them, and crossed the tree with ease after her leader. She twitched her nose curiously as she suddenly thought she had picked up a trace of a scene she recognised, but the faint smell was soon gone. Shaking her head, the Riverclan medicine cat carried on forward. The cats behind her followed suit as those in front padded over to Windclan.

She cleared her throat and then spoke: "Thunderclan... we must head to the gathering at once. I apologise for the delay," she then continued, "I'll be taking Darkfur, Slumberfur, Austere Moon, Owlheart, Darkpaw, the elders, of course, and Poppyfur and Willowpaw. Whilst they are out of camp presently, we will likely come across the two as we make our way to the gathering. They're just hunting." She ended her words with a curt dip of her head, then leaked down gracefully from the highrock and bounded toward the camp entrance, followed by the elders. "I'm sorry we're in such a hurry - we haven't any time to lose."

Owlheart pricked his ears up upon hearing his name. He had been chosen to attend the Gathering.

 

As soon as Kitestar dropped down from the Highrock, he got up and emerged from the shade in the clearing to pad after her, keeping his head low and ears up. Always on alert.

 

And he secretly couldn't wait to see ShadowClan's reaction to his presence.

 

 

RiverClan Territory, near the lake

 

Jinx watched, eyes wide with intrigue, as cats emerged this way and that to gather on the little island on the lake. Hopefully she was far enough away to not be caught.

 

As soon as this little meeting of theirs would begin, she could sneak closer for a better view and hopefully get in hearing range.

 

Her sleek-furred tail swayed at her own cleverness. What could possibly go wrong?

As Slumberfur heard his and Darkpaw's name, he pointed Darkpaw to to follow him as he went with the rest of the clan out from the camp.  Rogue in their camp was in Slumberfur's mind, he didn't trust him, and he definitely didn't like him

Darkpaw didn't know what was going on with the rogue and was little bit confused why there was rogue in their camp in the first place but didn't ask about it now, he just followed his mentor towards the gathering..

Silverstar crossed the bridge with her warriors and glanced around the empty island, she waited for a small amount before she scented another clan approaching the tree bridge, the fishy smell gave the clan identity away. Riverclan. She watched the riverclan cats come over the tree bridge one by one, then waited for them to gather in the center, her own clan mates broke apart joining the riverclan cats, She walked over to the Riverclan leader and dipped her head in greeting, she exchanged several pleasantry's before the Riverclan Leader excused herself and trotted over to one of there clan mates.

 

Silverstar snorted slightly annoyed, though she hid it well, she spotted another important member within Riverclan, the medicine cat.  Moontail. She walked over to the riverclan medicine cat noticing she hadn't gone straight over to Redear, the medicine cats were normally quite close, though with Redear it was probably sensible to try and avoid spending too much time with her. Redear was easier to handle in small portions, too much and you probably would get clawed.  

 

"Hello, its been awhile hasn't it Moontail. Have you been ok?" she asked politely. She sat down near to the riverclan cat, they would be waiting awhile it seemed, two clans were still missing from the gathering, thunderclan and shadowclan. If they didn't come though then her plan wouldn't cause to much of a problem, she had noticed the riverclan cats looked sleek and fat, though not kittypet fat. "Good hunting? You seem well enough" she remarked before glancing at the rising moon, "Wonder what taking the other clans so long to arrive, it would be better if they didn't come rather then be late" she finished. being late was disrespectful to Starclan after all.

@@Ruby Splash @ "Hello, Silverstar," Moontail greeted the Windclan leader politely. She then nodded, and said, "yes, we have hunting quite well as of late. I suppose Thunderclan and Shadowclan are just a little late. Shouldn't be long now, surely?" She wondered where the other two clans could be, though at the last trip to Mothermouth she had heard that Shadowclan were having trouble with a mysterious illness from her good friend. They were close, and trusted each other even with information such as that. Moontail hadn't told another soul, but now wondered if this sickness had potentially spread to Thunderclan, too; the Shadowclan medicine cat has also informed that it was highly contagious.

She raised her head and scented Poppyfur and Willowpaw nearby, assuming that she would find them hunting. Following the smell, she spotted Willowpaw clutching an unfortunate prey item, along with her mentor, Poppyfur. "The gathering has begun!" she told them, padding over to meet the two. "Amidst all of this chaos in the camp, I let it slip my mind... Will you be coming?"

ThunderClan Territory

 

Owlheart broke into a sprint as Kitestar began rushing through the territory. ThunderClan was late for the Gathering, so they needed to be fast.

 

The group had run into Poppyfur and Willowpaw, and halted momentarily to invite them to come. The tortoiseshell warrior flicked his dark tail impatiently, not wanting to hear the jeers of the other Clans for their tardiness.

 

 

RiverClan Territory, near the lake

 

Jinx continued to watch, laying leisurely on her belly as more cats approached the island and crossed the fallen tree to get to it.

 

If she were feeling exceptionally cocky, she'd cross it herself and get a great view in front of every cat there. But her encounter with the irate she-cat from earlier reminded her of her little scratches, and she wisely stayed by the river.

 

Though, she eyed up the water, trying to spot any fish swimming around in it in the darkness. Perhaps she could sneak one while she waited?

Riverclan's gathering island

 

Omen smiled. All the cats were here for the gathering. He could smell the clans being there. And all the noise they made was surprising. He turned around. He was waiting for one of the leaders to officially start the gathering by a greeting to immediately jump down in front of every cat. He thought about why he was doing it. The more time passed the more this idea seemed like a stupid one. But, he thought, eventually, he would be caught anyway. After all, he wasn't a ghost that he tried to seem like, neither a mystic presence that he tried to be. And after all, he wasn't completely unknown. Even if forgotten, his presence was remarked through his eyes in the darkness. So, it was the best move to reveal his actual existence in the most remarkable way, so the memory of him would be stuck in other cat's minds. He always liked to be the center of the attention. And seemingly fall from the sky was a spectacular way of entering. He just needed for a leader to shut all the clans and focus the attention on himself so Scarlet could then steal it from him by jumping in the small clearing between the cats and the leaders. Omen smiled again.

Silverstar smiled at her, "well hopefully they arrive shortly. I've not heard of any problem from either clan, so there is no real reason for there lateness, is there" she remarked as she waited. She glanced at the moon which was now beginning to decline in the sky, she let out a growl of annoyance, "well, they better be here, Starclan wouldn't be happy if they didn't show at all, still they would displease Starclan by being late as they are" she remarked. "lets gather by the Tree, we should be ready for when they actually show" she remarked, getting to her paws. She waited for the medicine cat, then they would go to the clearing and take there rightful places.

Darkfur felt at ease whilst he felt his body drifting through the forest at a speedy pace.

Even though half of his body was numb, he felt a sense of warmth that only happened at times where he had nothing to worry about, but Darkfur knew he did.

He just didn't want to think about it, the rogue, virus or anything.

His mind wondered if they would be scolded or made fun of for being late..

Silverstar got bored of waiting for the other clans to arrive and climbed the leader's tree within the center of the gathering. She made her way onto the lowest branch, not enjoying climbing, it was rather unnatural. She glanced down at the two clans and frowned, where were thunderclan and shadowclan she thought, she had allowed enough time for them, being late was there problem, they still had much to discuss and the moonlight was only getting shorter. She let out a loud caterwaul bringing the gathering to a start.

 

"We should get started, Thunderclan and Shadowclan are obviously late, and thus, bring shame on there clans and anger Starclan, to delay would only bring additional anger onto our own Clans" she called out to the assembled cats.
