Definitely a Pegasus. Everything about flight screams fun and exciting. Not only that, but Cloudwalking and weather control are also very cool traits. Overall teh Pegasi are just my absolute favorite.

While I would prefer to be a pegasus (would love to fly and walk on clouds), I would be a crystal earth pony. But my mother would be a unicorn so I'd be living outside the Crystal Empire. I don't know why I think an earth pony would fit me, probably I just chose it cause it's underused, which I have a habit of doing. But I really am interested in the Crystal Empire, really beautiful place, and wish to know more about it.

If alicorn is not an option...

Dragon, since they have hands, can breathe fire, fly and live very long (if sleeping for 100 years is a "nap"...).

Changeling would probably be my second choice - unless they are short lived. Magic and flight, so almost an alicorn.

Unicorn is a third choice - no flight, but ponies would not be racist against me.
