I hate commercials. Normally, I would rather record the show to a tape and then just fast forward the commercials (unless I really want to have higher quality first-generation copy, then I have to manually pause the VCR during the commercials). IPTV with "archive" function also allows this.

Once in a while, you get a really good and clever one, like the Cadbury Gorilla. A lot of the ones I see aired these days are pretty rubbish.

I haven't seen commercials in a long time except when my youtube ad blocker fouls up. Back in the old days of tv they were bathroom breaks. Now they're just annoying but I still wish they could pay for the things you watch rather than having to pay for everything yourself.
