gaming Favourite final bossfight

Who played few games know it. In many games, usually at the end of it, there he or she or it is. The last resistance, the last firewall to peace, the last horror to freedom or mayby the last man to a new beginning? Sooner or later we had to go trough it, reaching the bad(or not bad) person, monster, whatever standing in our way to finish the game, the one, that tests or earned skills and equipment, that takes every single attention from you to not fail. Some might be easy, others unfairly impossible to beat but at the end the credits are rolling and you can satisfied lay your flank back with a satisfied sigh.

 

In the history of gaming, many, most better say, have then, the final fight. Heck, even some racing games has "the final top racer" or so to beat.

 

So, who is your favourite final bossfight? And is it because it was really hard or memorable? Tell me everypony^^

 

I on my side can't honestly decide, there are so many just like Ocelot in MGS4 or Rafe in Uncharted 4 or so many others.

Probably the final boss fight from the original Kingdom Hearts game. That and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time that final boss fight was amazing.

I am going to have to say Xemnas from Kingdom Hearts 2 <3 <3 Gosh, I loved that fight. It was ENDLESS!!!! Yet I loved it so much <3 <3 <3 :Wub:

MGS Final Bosses are almost always great, but my favorite will always be The Boss in MGS3

I still have not finished the final boss fight form the FIRST game D: D: It is so HARD Dx But I love the game anyways, even though I still have not been able to finish it to this day :D

I also really need to play the second game again as well. These games were so good. Such a good story teller <3 <3. Gonna love playing the final boss fight in the second game again

 

 

I remember that I finished the boss fight in the middle of the night when I was a kid, and my parents were fast a sleep. I felt so accomplished and happy <3

The fight with Majora at the end of The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask, I just love how creepy it is.

 

My favourite final boss theme is from a different fight though, it's from the Dark Bowser fight in Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story.

 

I also like the fight with GLaDOS in Portal.

My favorite final boss fights in video games are:

 

- Xemnas from Kingdom Hearts 2

- Vergil from Devil May Cry 3

- Shadow Queen from Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door

 

I liked them all because they were very challenging and a lot of fun. They also felt complex and strategical, in my opinion.

For me, it would be The Boss from MGS3. It was such a tough and very emotional fight that tested everything you had learned throughout the game. And the conclusion of the fight is what set the events of the entire MGS saga into motion.

Just finished Thousand Year Door a couple months ago. Gotta say the Shadow Queen was a regal boss fight.

Puns aside, Sephiroth has always been my favorite antagonist (of a game), even though I never actually beat the game.
Ganon battles have always been enjoyable for me as well. First game I beat was OoT and I will remember the final battle forever. It was worth the effort I put into that game (And being 5 years old it was a lot). I really liked the Shadow Link battle but it wasn't as epic as it could have been. It was, and I'm not trying to  make another pun, a shadow of a real showdown.

I personally like the Boss Fight in Obscure 1.

The end boss is exactly what i want in a Horror game, the last Monster has to be the most giant and most terrifying one.

And there are a surprising amount of games that disappointed me with their last Boss, ( best example is Silent Hill 2, it might be the best horror Game of all time for some, but i really felt trolled, after the very very short Boss Fight and that the game just cuts off in the Fight. )

 

The Final Fight in Obscure was great,took longer, had awesome Music and was even emotional and sad.

Extermination also has a great Boss Fight as well as Resident Evil 2 and 3.

Ultimecia from Final Fantasy 8. Mostly because when i first beat her i didn't know there were 4 stages to the fight and that characters could permanently die during the fight. It was all just shocking to me and the fact it had such an amazing piece of music playing during the fight made it seem so epic.
