So, Minty got a Build a Bear plush

Some of us might have noticed that the  toyline exclusive Minty is on sale as a plush in Build a Bear stores

 

It is strange since this is a third party company dealing with a toyine exclusive character . As far as I know, this is a first, as most third parties make merchandise of popular background ponies at the least known, so it's weird this is making a plush of Minty . 

 

I wonder if this means Minty will show-up in FiM next season. And with confirmation that G3 Pinkie Pie's VA will provide her voice in S7 (I'd prefer if Tabitha st GerMANE reprises the role if that happens ), not to mention it's been a while since we last got a toyline exclisive pony appearing in the show (I think Blossomfort was the last such case back in S2 )

 

PD: I just hope it's not just a A Very Minty Christmas allusion (she can have Christmas accessories), I WANT HER IN THE SHOW

I was rather surprised at Build a Bear's latest release, whilst it's a welcome addition to the line it certainly was an unexpected one! I recall that the company offered customers the choice of future releases, I can't recall exactly but I wonder if Minty was one of the options (or perhaps cited in an 'Other' option) and this release is the result of a popular vote? Honestly I have no idea but she looks great as a G4 pony, so hopefully we will see more of her in the future

Well, I hope that's enough for her being introduced in the show though . In a fic, she's the biological sister of one of my favorite OCs, and they're Rarity's oldest children there

It wouldn't be the first time; they also had Lickety Split as a one-shot character that Spike conned out of his ball in that one S2 episode where he grew giant (forget the name).

As a G3 fan, I am quite happy with this. I may actually go over to build a bear for the first time in over a decade. I must admit, she looks gourgeous. And while I too would prefer Tabitha to reprise her role as Minty, I'm fine w/ Janice Jaud playing the role, as admittedly Tabitha's Minty sounds a lot like Andrea's Pinkie. 

 

Regardless, cheers for the G3 revival.

I got her just under a month ago and she's so adorable. Unfortunately she doesn't come with her own outfit, but there are plenty of festive outfits to choose from the reindeer line, so I got her a red Christmas cape, Santa hat, and I got her stuffed with a lovely smelling peppermint scent. Then I went to a nearby clothes store and got her some socks, because, well it's Minty. She can't be without socks!
