animation A Horse of a Different Crueller - Any BoJack fans out there?

It's raunchy, it's raw, and it doesn't pull any punches; it's BoJack Horseman! Wanted to see if I could meet any other fans of this show.

I love the social commentary and satire of this series, and how we go on this journey with a real jerk who somehow manages to make us care about him despite being nearly irredeemable. I'd love to hear any other opinions on one of my favorite animated shows.

I did see all episodes so far once through, and I have to say that I'm impressed. At first, it was hard to get through, with all the drama, but I guess that's because it took me out of my comfort zone!. I believe that's the best way to describe the show: it takes you out of your comfort zone.

Also, as a Disney Fan, there are some jokes involving Disney that you must never say around me; biggest one claiming that Walt Disney himself hated Jews (No, he hated unions because of what happens in the mid 1920s when he lost Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and most of his animators left him). However, one Bojack Horseman episode had a jab at the Disney company that I didn't mind. The episode's called "Yesterdayland", but I won't say what the joke is.

When Todd makes his own Disneyland? Yeah, that's a fun episode. I think the Jewish joke is mainly hinging on the fact that, when most people want to trash Walt Disney just because, they say he was antisemitic, even though he most likely was not. People just like to trash famous people sometimes, especially ones as beloved as Disney.

Always seems to culminate around the season finale, too! Like in the Season one Finale with the "Am I a good person?" question at the ghost writer's convention. And don't even get me started with the ending of Season 2 and 3... BoJack kills.

Don't think I gave anything away, just hinted at some things ^^

The end of that scene in S1 was brutal.
