Arylett Charnoa 4,919 May 13, 2012 Share May 13, 2012 Observing a certain disorganization (especially with the extreme proliferation of Ask threads) of our forum of fun and games, we mods decided to split Cloudsdale Colosseum into three sections! Yes, we gave it the Everfree Treatment. You may now play in the three following arenas for the epic pegasi games: Forum Games - The section you know and love! This name says it all. This section is for threads that have a specific playable purpose. Examples of things that would go in here include: You're Banned, various forms of rating threads (that involve rating things above you), and word games. (Like Zamba.) Ask a Pony- A section exclusively devoted to ask threads! These involve pretending to be a character and answering questions as them. General Silliness - For miscellaneous nonsense and threads of a comical/silly tone. A good rule of thumb: If you can't play it, it doesn't belong in Forum Games and should probably be put here. Examples include: What's in your clipboard, General chat thread, If you could date anypony from the forums We hope you enjoy the new organization, everyone! Now what are you standing around here for? It was more than just a silly trend, they were becoming more popular and increasing in number since they first showed up. When more than half the threads (27/50 to be exact) on the first page of Cloudsdale say "ASK ASK ASK ASK ASK!" and the number is only increasing, they deserve their own place. Yes, this one one of the reasons for creating the "Ask a Pony" Sub-forum. Not only does it provide shelter for those who enjoy them, but it also keeps them out of the hair of those who dislike them quite a lot... Zoop for instance. (Hah, get it! Out of his hair! XD. God I should go to bed >.>) Bald jokes aside, these additions to Cloudsdale should certainly be able to keep all members happy. Yes, I think Cloudsdale looks much better now with everything put into their own sections ^^ It'll be nice to have the ask me threads and forum games separate from the rest of the stuff in there. Also, I see some people are just now noticing the power of ask threads I've been on forum after forum, and once they start, they grow like weeds. People often speak up about things they don't like, which we try to change, but it's also extremely helpful for us to know what people do like. Glad you like these changes!
