How would you rank the mane 6's families from best to worst?

How would you rank each one in general?

Also, Flurry Heart can be included in Twilight's family, but Celestia and Luna can't (they're Twilight's niece in laws). You can include Spike.

Applejack's family can only include her relatives and Granny Smith. No extended family members.

1. Applejack's (assuming her parents are dead and not deadbeats, really close and supportive, and we see their unit the most out of all of their families.)

2. Rainbow Dash (super supportive and adorable)

3/4. A tie between Twilight's and Pinkie's as we only really get to see them interact with one of their family members (Shining Armor and Maud Pie) on a regular basis.

5. Fluttershy (Sure Zephyr Breeze may not be the best, but her parents are at least better than Rarity's)

6. Rarity's (Sweetie Belle is awesome and all, but her parents are pretty neglectful)

1. Applejack - no duh

2. Rainbow - Her parents are just the sweetest. A bit much, for sure, but that's only because they care.

3. Pinkie - Maud is the show's best supporting character, and both of Pinkie's other sisters have potential. They might rank even higher if Marble gains some depth and Limestone shows a less angry side. Parents are less interesting though. 

4. Twilight - I like Cadance and Shining Armour, but the show doesn't really realize their potential. Like Pinkie's, better appearances will make a difference. Blandest parents, unfortunately 

5. Rarity - Sweetie Belle is alright. I don't always care for her petty side, honestly, but she's also the star of one of my favourite episodes. We don't really get to know the parents very well, but they do seem relatively unique. Why Sweetie is always with Rarity is unclear.

6. Fluttershy - Parents are cute but not super distinct. I like Zephyr, but it's hard not to put him in last place when his only episode intentionally makes him unlikeable, albeit in a funny way. Needs another episode where he's less of a jerk.

1. Pinkie Pie - For having the most siblings.

2. Applejack - Since Pinkie's in first place under my thoughts.

3. Twilight Sparkle - No younger siblings, but has a niece.

4. Fluttershy - I feel that her family is anywhere better than Rainbow's and Rarity's.

5. Rainbow Dash - Since she's an only child, apparently, even though Scootaloo is like a little sister to her.

6. Rarity - Leaving her in last place.

In terms of how interesting and developed they are:

1. Applejack's, because... well, mostly because they're the most developed, but they're funny and have some great designs. 
2. Pinkie's, because Maud, and because her other sisters also have fantastic potential. I also love their designs.
3. Fluttershy's, mostly because of design. I really like how distinct they all are, yet how they're clearly related.
4. Rarity's, because her relationship with Sweetie Belle is really interesting, and their parents' designs are at least unique.
5. Twilight's, because although I love Shining Armour, Cadance and Flurry Heart, I definitely feel like Twilight's bond with Shining Armour still needs some work. And their parents... are kind of boring.
6. Rainbow's. They were pretty one-dimensional in the episode we saw, so here's hoping they get some more development in future.

But in terms of most supportive, etc:

1. The Apples again- they're so close-knit and really care about each other. Though they do argue, there's clearly a lot of love and trust there. Definitely the kind of family I would love to have.
2. Twilight's; her parents are supportive of her studies and she seems to have a great relationship with her brother. Her sister-in-law is also one of her oldest friends, and her niece is shaping up to be the most powerful pony in Equestria. 
3. Rainbow's. Honestly, I was pretty eh about her parents. They mean well, and their support obviously did wonders for Rainbow as a filly, but they seem to stress her out a lot, and I didn't like how the show made her frustration with them seem like something mean and unjustified. Viewing your kid as a platform for their achievements is kind of weird.
4. Rarity's. There's no reason to believe her parents are neglectful as such as of yet. They definitely need more development before we can know, but their absence is strange and I'm sure looking after Sweetie Belle alone takes a toll on her.
5. Fluttershy's. They're not bad ponies, but as a unit they seem just a little dysfunctional, probably because of Zephyr. 
6. Probably pretty controversial, but in my opinion, Pinkie's family is the worst. I get really bad vibes off her parents. Maud is wonderful, but Limestone and Marble don't seem as friendly and open with her, and I get the impression there's some tension there, and that's not surprising. A rock farm doesn't seem like a great place to grow up.

1. Applejack: I like the apple family including the very underappreciated Granny Smith. I love the episode in the Apple Reunion focusing on her as a young mare and would be interested to hear more from her. I also like Braeburn as far as a more minor apple character. Out of AJ's family I'd say besides Granny Smith that Big Mac is my favorite.

2. Rainbow Dash: Yes, I'll admit I'm biased to as I really love Rainbow as a character. Her parents were a surprise to me, in a good way! I like that they love Rainbow and support her, but need to tone it down and learn that you can be too supportive. I especially like Rainbow's dad because of his design but Rainbow's mom is sweet too!

3. Twilight: I really like Shining Armor and think he's a pretty cool stallion. I like that the writers are adding a dose of reality of what being a new dad and father to a baby is like. I actually like Cadence and Flurry.

4. Pinkie Pie: I actually like Marble Pie more than I do Maud. Marble is really shy and I can relate as I'm introverted. I think Pinkie is more the black sheep (um I mean pony) in her family being so outgoing. Pinkie's family remind me of the Amish who are very quiet and don't show too much emotion. Lime Pie is the more greedy and scheming of the siblings.

5. Fluttershy: I know that Zephyr is a character most people hate, and I can see why. The bad thing is I can relate to him on a level of fearing failing. However, I don't believe in never trying or mooching off family. Fluttershy's mom and dad didn't really get fleshed out enough.

6. Rarity: I don't hate Rarity by any means, but she's not my favorite pony and we barely see her parents! Sweetie Belle is alright, but my least fav CMC.

1. Rainbow Dash: I just LOVE her parents. They are wonderful and so huggable. :3

2. Pinkie Pie: Probably the most complex family in the show with tons of diversity. It is so weird thinking that Pinkie is flesh and blood with Limestone for example, but that makes them more interesting. 

3. Applejack: I like the family overall, though I would like a bit more diversity with more family members.

4. Fluttershy: The only reason this isn't higher is because Zephyr is just garbage. Her parents make up for that though, I like them quite a bit. 

5. Rarity, mostly because of Sweetie Belle. Her parents are a very rare occurence and not all that interesting. 

6. Twilight: Same as above, Shining Armor is nice, but their parents are almost nonexistent. Would love to know more about them.
