Well she does not need to be around the characters all the time, last time I checked it was called Friendship is Magic, not Twilight is Magic so I think the show will do good without her being around all the time.

Screw fricking Zephyr Breeze! He's mean, he's entitled, he thinks he has skill when he really doesn't, but the one good thing about Flutter Brutter (sorry if I got that wrong) is that it brings out the best in Fluttershy. At least Discord TRIES to be kind, especially to Fluttershy, or Starlight is kind and understanding and tries to study harder. I even like Yamet more because he has kick-ass powers.

As for you two, honestly. First of all, Twilight is essential to the plot line, they just chose to have her be the most important and powerful. And the show is incorporating her less and less, but she will not vanish! Oh, she is far too well-developed to be exterminated. Although, I MAY be a bit biased, seeing as she IS my favorite character  Still, she is just the mainest of the main characters. 

Thank you, it's not that I don't like seeing Twilight, I just don't want the show to be the same every year, it gets repetitive and having something that would've worked 7 years ago to now just seems a bit off to me, the show needs to adapt to the times if they want to compete with other shows.

Every person has their reasons to dislike a character - Zephyr is just one kind of a character that behaves in such a way that I couldn't get along with and I don't see anything wrong with that.  Not to mention the way he thought Rainbow Dash was all over him was icky, which is a sure way to make me lose some appreciation towards someone, be it a fictional character or not.
I'm not sure if you've actually browsed through everyone's posts to call them hypocrites either.

I don't doubt a future episode could make Zephyr better (which, BTW, has been the same method that's enabled said "reformed villains who did so much worse" to be much better-received).

Tbh she isn't as prominent anymore so I don't think you need to worry. Tho you have to admit Flurry of Emotions was a decent episode with her. 

But really, I'd rather the show not get rid of any major character, because 1, that would probably mess the show up, and 2, piss a lot of people off. Regardless of which character it is.

Aye. I'm not a fan of AJ or Pinkie but if either were removed from the show I'd still be pissed. 

For me, I'd remove any of the characters made solely for antagonistic purposes. So zesty gourmand, svengallop, etc.

Ok. With this, I think I realized that I may be approaching the question in a completely different way than most. When I hear the question "who would you remove", I tend to focus on character that undermine a moral, theme, or add nothing important to the narrative of the show. It isn't a question of who angered me more, or even who I like least. 

Spoiled Rich's removal would have significantly altered one major episode that was a huge moment for five characters in FiM. Considering CotLM is not only well received, but is usually in the top five of many fans episode list, I would think messing with the character that provides substantive conflict would be a bad idea overall. 

Perhaps I'm looking at the question all wrong though.

I wouldn't want to get rid of her. Well.. Kinda. Her personality. Spoiled Rich and Filth Rich are kinda both in this class.

If Diamond Tiara was raised to respect other and see the world not through her parents wealth. Yes I did like that episode and seeing her stand up to her family was nice.

That won't change much in the long run. Diamond now knows if she yells at her mother she will get whatever she wants. Even if at the moment her intentions are good that doesn't mean in the future she wont become a brat again. They spoil her and kids are not perfect. 

I wouldn't get rid of her but I feel she needed more of a character arc that Diamond. 

She and Rich both need to learn how to raise Diamond.

Exactly. That was the sticking point for me. It displayed that Zephyr doesn't care one flying feather about his parents or what they want. I actually felt myself grow angry when I watched that scene. More so than at anything Starlight did before her redemption. In her own way, Starlight thought she was doing good in her village. Zephyr just casually destroyed his father's cherished collection so he could say "Look, I can stay here in this suddenly empty cottage!" I find that to be truly evil.

Zephyr Breeze is the thorn in my side when it comes to the show. The only slight positive he has is that he was different than what I expected, though he went so far in an absurd direction that it doesn't matter. The societal stereotyping is also taken to an extreme with him, being that apparently anyone who lives with their parents in adulthood is a lazy pile of trash that also doubles as a complete dick. To hell with that.

Can I nominate two characters? I think both Flim and Flam deserve to get the axe. These two shifty salesponies had their chance to shine in their first episode, played a satisfactory role, and then reappeared a couple seasons later having learnt nothing from their bitter failure in Ponyville... and unapologetically deserted the scene again after being exposed as frauds.

Viva Las Pegasus is actually a decent episode for me, and it's nice seeing them having changed a bit, but I just don't see anything about them that makes a fourth episode worthwhile. I would honestly rather see somepony like Zephyr Breeze again instead.
