Idea how could you see ponies IRL (VR)

So I thought about this, you know those VR things that let you play games and sensors you moves 

 

 What if you put sensors on your cat to get her shape, movement etc. and when you are wearing the VR goggles and holding her, you would see her as a pony model

I don't know. I think it is a little bit weird to act like your cat is a ponie.
